As per previous collab albums, this will make Liam Gallagher eligible for the Best Group Brit Award for the first time since Beady Eye split up. wink.gif

As a massive Oasis fan and a fan of most of Liam's solo stuff, I can't really get into this. John Squire's guitar parts are obviously great but I find the rest of the song a bit forgettable. Maybe it will take a few more listens, we'll see.

It does improve a bit with repeated listens but I don't think I'll ever properly love it. And Liam singing the colours of the rainbows in the middle of the song is massively cringe laugh.gif

According to the Guardian’s interview with them, the album is creatively titled ‘Liam Gallagher John Squire’ and will release in the Spring.

Mars to Liverpool is actually good, after having low expectations.

Yeah, 'Mars To Liverpool' is sounding better than 'Just Another Rainbow', but I can kinda see why they went with the latter as the lead single.

Yeah this is very very good, catchier than the lead single - it sounds like it should be in the end credits of a film!

The album 'Liam Gallagher John Squire' is out on March 1st.

I’d like to upgrade Mars to Liverpool to utterly amazing now.

Reminds me a bit of Oasis - Up In The Sky.

So this is out and I've given it a listen. I know it's got great reviews and it will almost certainly be an easy number one next week, but I found it a bit meh. John Squire's guitar work is obviously decent and there are definitely two or three pretty good songs on it, but for the most part I found it decidedly average. I'll give it another listen next week though to see if I change my mind.

I can’t believe ‘Once’ isn’t in your top 10. For me that’s up there with some Oasis classics.
