With the majority of those doing the climb are singers, I think it would be a great idea if they all recorded the Comic Relief single together With the Take That, Boyzone and Girls Aloud fans buying it and Chris Moyles , GMTV and The Sun promoting, it would be a huge hit and hopefully make more money for a great cause.


Thinking about all those involved, I wonder who of the 10 will actually make it to the summit. Somehow I just can see Cherel, Kimberly or Chris Moyles making it past to base camp

Iris you beat me to it! I bought the hard copy this morning - the pictures are fabulous and the interview is the best. I'm certain I'm going to like The Circus more than Beautiful World. I've got a feeling its going to be a bit more raw and quirkier!

I 've got the same feeling. Beautiful world was too smooth, IMO. The same instruments. The same art to mellow the sound.

This one, only form the beginnings of songs, I can tell: different instruments, different sound, most of the songs seems to have personality.A bit rough. Every time I hear the bits i discover something new (which is why I adore Mark's solo music). I have the feeling I will love this album, while by yBeautiful world, I only like half of it (but to like half of an album is for me quite an achievment ! ).

I think it will not have the same success as Beautiful World. It may be that is not so commercial and MOR as Beautiful World (I don't mean that for BW as a bad thing, it is just how I think it worked with the people). But it also may be that they go they path (like the Queen did) rather the mode path, ...There will be a lot of people disspointed not to have so many Gary ballads and too much quirky Mark.

Even the Gary ones on this (the snippets I've heard) sound quirkier than usual and not so 'ballady'. I think you're right about the commercial success ... It'll do well but nowhere near as much as BW - but it'll be a better album - and one that the lads can be more proud of.

Nah! Life's too short to read that ... its a prelude to the awful review I know the Times will give The Circus anyway. When the writer started talking about roundabouts in Birmingham - I gave up ... load of bollocks! But the Times is so predictable. They'll hate Take That - to be trendy - and they'll love Britney - again ... to be trendy. I'm glad I'm in with the 'out' crowd.

I seriously doubt Gary Barlow or any of Take That said anything so 'severe'. They've probably said something like 'we'd rather she hadn't mimed' and the Sun (and sheep followers) turn into 'Gary Barlow Slams .... ' Now that he and Rob appear to be friends again ... the media have got to create another 'enemy' its just convenient that Take That and Britney have an album of the same name. The last time they said Gary Barlow 'slammed' anyone ... it was Rob. It was all 'Barlow slams Robbie's Rudebox' when it turned out all he'd said was that he preferred Rob's classic material. Sometimes I think I'm the only one that sees it but the media (as much as the Sun, etc cosy up to Take That) would love Gary to fail again.

I am so glad that the boys have a 'life outside' of music and are happy to be a UK phenomenon. Yes ... Stateside success would bring massive material bonuses ... but look at Britney ... massive in the States and yet she seems desperately unhappy. Not that Take That would ever be successful there anyway .... but at least they're not trying. I truly hope the States show no sign of interest (which they won't anyway) as I sort of want to keep them 'to ourselves'. Even Rob isn't trying US success and if any of them was going to make it there it would be Rob - he's still young enough and with no ties to hold him down. Sadly I can see them gradually toning down attempting further success in Europe - you'll just have to make do with Westlife.

I do think the world (and the US itself) has an inflated impression of how the world sees the US music scene. I mean ... there are loads of acts in the UK (that we love) that are absolutely unheard of in the US ... and I'm glad of that. Its nice to keep something 'to ourselves'. Just wish the States would stop foisting its '$h!te' upon the rest of the world from time to time.

I doubt it would be Asia ... I don't think this album did anything at all there! Not even certain if it was released outside of the UK, Ireland and Europe. But I was just waiting for Martin to update the best sellers (with sales) for 2008 - The Circus sold 1,446,135 and in the best sellers so far for 2009, they've only sold 94,200 - so that makes a total of 1,540,335. Take that away from the 2,000,000 in that post and they've sold over 450,000 outside the UK. Nice to read but I'm not too certain about those numbers.

Well if you Google 'Howard Donald' - 'news' you'll find at least 100 occurrences of that one story! I'm glad Gary admitted to being too prudish to 'do that sort of thing' (well not in public anyway) and Jason seems to have abstained. Don't think that guy likes either Rob or Take That to be honest (from previous stuff he's written). He's 100% total pants anyway - those comments 'blow Take That and Michael Jackson out of the water' was attributed to Rob in another 'article' ages ago - and I don't even believe Rob said any such thing. Having said that ... his tour will be a mega-success. No-one can deny he is very popular in Europe too - something Take That not done. Good luck to him. As you can sense - although I still can't stand Rob's music or voice ... I have actually mellowed a little to him himself!

It seems that The Garden will be also a single (or actually get in romanian radio) from 11 mai. Well I hope that those who voted continue to dream on! The Eurovision Challenge is a poisoned chalice to any British act offered it! I have nothing but respect for those who take up the challenge as they'll only lose! I must admit though ... I only watch Eurovision for a laugh (lately tuning in only for the reading of the votes/results). But I'm in a quandarry this year ... I really like the girl singing the song for Britain (even though to me its just 'meh') but I can't stand Andrew Lloyd Webber - so one half of me wants it to do well for her sake - but the other half of me wants it to come last just to see the look on the pompous arse-hole Lloyd Webber!

The links wont work for me and its to do with my server which is so annoying, did it say much about the new album???Im so happy we will get at least one more studio album but im thinking we will get more i have always had that feeling but even if it doesnt we have a new studio album and a new greatest hits to come from this era and at worst we may get a brand new song on a greatest hits when it comes, all this along with new b sides etc we still have loads of take that goodies to look forward to in the future.

MARK OWEN, JASON ORANGE, HOWARD DONALD and GARY BARLOW have already made a start on their sixth album during the tour. And if history repeats itself, you can bet your boots there will be another jaw-dropping tour in 2011.

A source said: “The lads always thought the Circus album would be a good way to bow out. The last thing they planned to release was the DVD of the show which is being filmed at Wembley this weekend.

“The bond between them is so strong at the moment that they decided they should keep the momentum going.

“Mark, Howard and Jason are in the songwriting form of their life — it’s not all on Gary’s shoulders, as a lot of people think.

“The response on tour has reassured them all that there is still a huge hunger for the boys to continue.”

Gary popped in briefly to the O2 Silver Clef Awards in aid of the Nordoff-Robbins charity at London’s Hilton Hotel yesterday.

The charity provides music therapy sessions for 35,000 adults and children every year.

He presented a cheque from the band for £50,000 — money the band raised by charging pals and VIPs who have tried blagging guest-list slots on the tour.

As Gary received the top award — the O2 Silver Clef — on behalf of the band, he joked: “Don’t be playing Angels before I come up on stage! Here’s a cheque from the band from all those people who try to get away without paying for tickets to the show.”

STEREOPHONICS picked up the gong for British Band of 2009.

PETER ANDRE pouted for a snap with Celebrity Big Bro winner CHANTELLE HOUGHTON after they bumped into each other for the second time this week.

And the singer got the biggest laugh of the day when he was manhandled on stage by a drunk, tattooed woman who wanted her picture taken. Seems life hasn’t changed a lot since he split with JORDAN.

A ten-year-old English Cerebral Palsy sufferer had her dream come true thanks to the UK’s Make-A-Wish Foundation last week, when she got to meet boyband Take That.

Hope, from Essex, was granted the wish to go to London and attend the concert at Wembley Stadium in a luxury pink limousine.

According to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, "She was especially thrilled to meet Mark Owen, as he is her favorite member of the group. She clapped her hands and blew him kisses when she met him. Mark was very touched and made Hope the envy of millions of girls when he bent down to give her a kiss on the cheek and told her to have a great time watching the show.“

“Hope will remember this day forever and so will I,“ said Hope’s mother. "Just to see the smile on her face made me so happy. Thank you Make-A-Wish for making this magical wish happen.”

And one third of women admit they would DUMP their partners and find someone more attractive if they were slimmer.

Celebrities such as George Clooney, Brad Pitt and all four members of Take That were all named by women as being men they would happily ditch their partners and run away with.

Yet former pop favourite Robbie Williams fared less well in the poll with less than one per cent of respondents naming him as someone they would be prepared to dump their husband or boyfriend for.

The poll of women aged 18 to 50 was carried out on behalf of weight loss product Proactol and full results are due to be published on the company’s website www.Proactol.co.uk.

The poll revealed that a shocking 65% of women believe they would be luckier in love if they were slimmer.

And 33% of the women questioned said they would happily dump their husband or boyfriend if they did posses their dream bodies – and run off with someone more attractive.

When asked who they would choose to run away with the women named celebrities from film, TV and music with Robert Patterson, star of the Twilight movies, featuring in the wish list of the younger ladies while actors George Clooney and Brad Pit were most popular with those over 25.

Man band Take That enjoyed popularity with every age group and all four members were named as a dream man worthy of ditching a partner for. Yet the band’s former member Robbie Williams was named by only one respondent – possibly a sign of his fading popularity.

Proactol product manager Katie Downing-Howitt said: "We all know women who complain about their weight and try to diet and our survey shows this is completely normal with a majority of women feeling this way at any time.

"Very close to two thirds of those we surveyed feel they are over weight and almost one fifth feel they are very overweight.

"I was more surprised by how many women admitted they would leave their partners for someone more attractive if they did manage to lose their excess weight. The survey shows that almost one third of women are only with their partners because they feel they couldn’t do any better.

"But if they could lose weight women clearly feel they would be more confident and more attractive – so look out lads.

"Our product Proactol is an organic fat binder which helps dieters to reduce their calorie intake. With more and more women finding it is possible to reach their target weight with the help of Proactol, men could increasingly find themselves back on the shelf in the months and years ahead."

His week the red-tops [only the red-tops - us fans couldn't give a shiny one - me] are getting scarlet with excitement at the news that Robbie Williams [I wish he'd just bugger off and promote his album instead of being a cuckoo in the nest - me] has been spied in a New York recording studio with his former Take That bandmates.

All five of the original gang have gathered in Manhattan for Mark Owen's stag do — but it's not the idea of the boys playing late-night drinking games that has everyone so het up. The real excitement lies around the tantalising possibility that Williams will again have songs written for him by the all-conquering Gary Barlow.

Having brought their dazzling Circus tour to Wembley Stadium for four nights this summer, the current incarnation of Take That is hotter than ever, and there's no such thing as time off for their chief songwriter.

Barlow has written To Love Again, a barnstorming piano ballad, with Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon for release as her latest single on 15 November. He's also composed This Time for a November comeback album by Shirley Bassey. “Gary is so good-looking and such a gentleman,” said the great dame recently.

Such is the breadth of his appeal that he's now writing for grime-pop teen favourites N-Dubz and the tabloids claim he's going to be working with the reformed Spandau Ballet. If he wrote a song for Gordon Brown, everything would probably be OK.

Then there's Barlow's record company. Future Records, a subsidiary of Take That's label Universal, has been put under Barlow's command as a reward for his band's renewed success. It is about to unveil its first signing. Camilla Kerslake, a 21-year-old from London via New Zealand, stalked Take That with a demo tape in hand until Barlow became convinced that her ghostly, operatic voice could conquer the lucrative classical crossover market. The first single, an Irish folk song entitled She Moved Through the Fair (released 2 November), has more than a bit of Enya about it. The subsequent album also features a cover of Take That's Rule the World, sung in Italian for extra classiness.

With Barlow behind her and a nation of mums in need of Christmas presents, she can't fail. “Gary's one of the biggest talents in the whole of the British music industry and an amazing mentor. How lucky am I?” she says.

It's a long way from the wilderness years after Take That's split. After his second solo album flopped in 1999, spending just one week at number 35 in the charts, Barlow never stopped working. He was in no position to be picky. While Robbie Williams was packing out stadiums, his songs found their way onto releases by Atomic Kitten, German girl group Monrose and X Factor disaster Michelle McManus. He also wrote most of two albums for Donny Osmond.

Did he go bad or were we just not paying attention? If the mark of truly great songwriters, like Dylan or Lennon and McCartney, is the song's ability to sound good in anyone's hands, does he flounder without his bandmates? Listening back to the music of those dark days — though it is difficult to describe as “dark” a period in which he wrote a song called Supersexy for boyband beefcakes Blue — it's clear that too often the songs became the property of inferior voices. A lack of composing confidence is sometimes detectable too. But dig deep and you realise he never lost it.

THE FORGOTTEN BALLADS

Gary Barlow's inspiration didn't dry up while he was in his wilderness years before Take That re-formed. Here are five gems he wrote for others that were overlooked at the time:

Butterfly

Performed by Delta Goodrem on Innocent Eyes (Epic, 2003)
Barlow co-wrote six songs on the teenage Australian soap star's debut album including this one, a fine tune that wouldn't disgrace his main band.

No Big Deal

Performed by Lara Fabian on
A Wonderful Life (Sony, 2004)
This Canada-based Celine Dion type is big in Francophone nations but didn't have much success with her second English-language album. One of Barlow's contributions was this almost rocky number with a typically memorable chorus.

Breeze on By

Performed by Donny Osmond on What I Meant to Say (Universal, 2004)
This smooth, summery single, centred on a lightly funky guitar lick and even featuring a flute solo, became a British top 10 hit for Osmond, his first since the early Seventies.

Easy Way Out

Performed by Charlotte Church on Tissues and Issues (Sony BMG, 2005)
Church's lone attempt at a pop album featured this impressive anthem, building from piano weepiness to a vast chorus loaded with strings.

For All That You Want

Performed by Gary Barlow on Twelve Months Eleven Days (BMG, 1999)
A Take That-style arm-swaying chorus that became Barlow's last solo single before he was dropped by his label. If only they'd known what was to come.

I must say ... I'm not sure I like all this 'bigging up'. This is what happened last time ... loads of pressure on Gary and not an ounce on Robbie Williams.

N-Dubz have recorded a new song with Take That's Gary Barlow, bandmember Fazer has revealed.

The rapper/producer told BBC Newsbeat that the Take That man entered the studio with them recently for a project he jokingly decribed as "Take Braaaap".

Fazer explained: ""We've done a big tune with Gary Barlow. We're not narrow-minded, we can make big tunes, and we can make massive hooks, big concepts, that's why we've got Gary Barlow in.

"It ain't Take That, it's Take Braaaap. Legend. He came in the studio and it was great – he had time for the underdogs and he came and wrote a smashing hook."

Although Fazer didn't say when the song would be released, he went on to reveal that the band were set for another pop collaboration soon – with Kylie Minogue. "Something will actually come out of this," he said. "The negotiations are almost done and there should be a track with Kylie and N-Dubz and it'll be a smash."

N-Dubz won two MOBO Awards earlier this week in Glasgow.


I love how people are appreciating Gary's sense of humour for what it is ... very dry and laid back ... and perhaps more importantly - adult (which it appears folk still can't 'get' - I guess they'd rather have childish slapstick!)

It is a musical leap that may shock Take That’s millions of fans. Gary Barlow is the latest pop star to try bridging the cultural chasm between pop and classical.

With five Ivor Novello Awards for songwriting and 30 million record sales behind him, Barlow’s work has become one of Britain’s most successful musical exports. Now he is seeking entry into the world of symphonies and arias as composer and talentspotter.

Speaking to The Times from a New York studio, Barlow said: “I’ve set up my own record label, Future, and my first signing is a classical soprano. “I had a small amount of classical training as a child and my mother was disappointed I didn’t go down that route. Now I’ve come round to her way of thinking.”

Pop stars who have dabbled in classical forms include Sir Paul McCartney, who composed Liverpool Oratorio, and Sting, whose album of lute music divided critics.

To begin with, Barlow will guide the career of Camilla Kerslake, 21, a four-octave coloratura soprano, who bombarded the star with demo tapes of her singing Ave Maria at his London recording studio. “I never thought a classical artist would be my first signing but I was entranced by this beautiful, pure voice,” he said. Barlow, 38, who admits that his knowledge of classical terminology is nascent, added: “She didn’t have that wobbly, operatic sound.”

As for the kind of music he is better known for, he confirmed that there is to be a reunion between Take That and Robbie Williams. A chance meeting at the New York studio where Take That are putting the finishing touches to a live album went well. Barlow said: “It was great to see Robbie. I’ve heard his new album and it’s absolutely fantastic. We definitely will work together in the future, we just don’t know when.”

A master of the three-minute radio hit, he is ready to broaden his composing style: “I’m using the classical skills I learnt more and more. I really like that world and I’d like to take it further in the future. The biggest issue is getting mainstream radio audiences to hear classical.” Barlow could even become a classical Simon Cowell. “X Factor-type shows only discover a certain kind of performer,” he said. “I’m looking for people with a different set of values, in pop songwriting or classical.”

With illegal filesharing wiping £180million each year off the value of the recorded music industry, Barlow will leave the limelight to become a backseat impressario. “I love my stagework but I see my future as helping to discover the next generation of talent. As Take That we only get to record 12 songs every two years. I want to be involved in music all the time.”

Will Kerslake be a success? Terry Wogan is a fan of her version of She Moved Through the Fair, which suggests that she is heading for the lucrative classical crossover market. Kerslake said: “I knew it was uncool to listen to opera as a kid, but I didn’t care because I loved it.” She said of her four-octave range: “I am more like a boy soprano, someone who can sing so lightly and so high that, in the upper ranges, I become almost like an instrument.”

LOL, as the rumour between fans get, the flight was planned long before. I was hoping back then that is perhaps for some film music, as it was to early for the new album. Still hope it was not for working with Robbie.

As for Mark: he is the biggest "idiot" , he takes always the wrong decisions apart from his song writing, he doesn't have a head for business , only Gary has. He wanted the Green Man when nobody was ready for it, he wanted something different for the second album (which was not published) and was thrown away from the record company, he went to CBB, he want the reunion with Robbie. I think Mark feels guilty about Robbie drugs addiction and that he didn't "rescue" him the first time. So, Mark is a lost case.

As for doing something solo: he is the only one from the three TT having a solo business, which didn't pay any attention to keep those few fans he had and those attention he got as a solo artist (he was quite respected in some strange german indie scene ). He haven't update his website with any information about TT or about him, apart from kids . So, my money are that he won't do a solo project in the next 10 years. With a little luck he will write some songs for rejects in X-factor (what a waste of talent, he has the talent to do marvellous film music - but does he make something to push his career?)

The only one with a head is Howard, but as it seems he is too in love to think right now .

I don't think Mark thinks that this what fans want. I think that this is what he wants (that is why i mean he has no business feel, he makes the music he feel is good not what he thinks fans will like it, he takes the decisions from the "artist" point of view but he cannot foresee how his / TT fans will act, he never could do that).

Edit: that Mark doesn't make what the fans want from him is very clear: on his forum were many voices that he should do something with his website (still have the artwork form 2003) and that he should bring on market more of his live DVD, as a lot of people (ok, a lot from Mark's fan lot, don't compare with TT fans) want to have it. We never got none of them .

I still have "seasick" . Counting the weeks ...

Im not over sure about this, take that ballads are what usually does well for the, their more up tempo songs dont sell aswell, shine was a big hit but not as big as patience, rule the world etc,up all night did well (not well enough in my opinion) but its like the public dont go as much for uptempo take that. So from that i dont know how dance would go, on saying that i wont judge as i have always said its always about the music for me and if its good i will certianly be buying it, and it also shows how the boys continue to keep things fresh which is and always has been a huge part in their huge success.

I don't mind them risking a few chart flops from now on ... as long as they're doing something a bit different. I do get fed up with the same old Ballad stuff (as brilliant as Patience and RTW were) and one or two up-tempo songs would be great. They've proved that they could make a comeback so now is the time to take chances and move away a bit from the BW and TC material. I'm hoping that this new album sees Jason on a couple of these upbeat songs too - I think he's got a great voice.

Take That are preparing for TWO albums ... and the one with Robbie looks like it is nothing to do with this Stuart Price venture. I feel strongly that the 5 tracks with Robbie won't be new at all ... just maybe a re-mash of stuff they've already done ... probably for Rob's 20 Years in the Business album ... which I'll be quite happy with. I really don't want him involved in anything new that they do. Having said that .... you've probably guessed that I've cooled somewhat towards Take That lately!

Gary briefly took part on the late late Toy show here in Ireland last night, usually the most watched tv show of the year and rule the world was sung by a group of kids with Gary and it was very good, rule the would is now top 5 on itunes.

Gary has said he doesn't expect Take That to be back until 2023 and may tour off the back of the "Greatest Days" film, so I guess that will release in 2022 now.

Take That will be celebrated on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds on New Year’s Day with five hours of shows featuring one of the UK’s best-loved bands

Take That will be celebrated on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds on New Year’s Day with five hours of shows featuring one of the UK’s best-loved bands, including a two hour countdown of listeners’ favourite Top 30 songs to mark the 30th anniversary of the group’s first Number 1 single, Pray, in 1993.

From today, listeners can vote at www.bbc.co.uk/takethat for up to three of their favourite songs taken from Take That’s Top 75 chart singles. Cat Deeley will host the live countdown show – The Ultimate Take That Song - on New Year’s Day in a show which will also feature the band with new and archive interviews, plus fans such as Olly Murs and Sam Bailey talking about many of the songs which have been voted into the chart. BBC Two reveals nation’s favourite Take That song
Never Forget, Back For Good and Rule The World were voted the ultimate top three Take That tracks.



BBC Two listeners have chosen 1995 hit Never Forget as their all-time favourite Take That track from the mega-star pop band.

The special New Year’s Day broadcast will see host Cat Deeley count down the band’s top 30 songs, with Back For Good from their third studio album Nobody Else placing second. Meanwhile, fan-favourite Rule The World from their Beautiful World album secured the third spot, Shine from the same 2007 album placed fourth and Greatest Day from their 2008 fifth album The Circus was voted in fifth.

Take That – comprising Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange – were hailed as Britain’s biggest boyband in the 1990s, evoking hysteria reminiscent of The Beatles. Williams left the band to pursue a solo career in 1995.

The BBC radio programme features the band in new and archive interviews, with Barlow explaining that the song Never Forget was not born with the huge chorus that it has on the single. The 51-year-old said: “Even the demo was quite laidback and it wasn’t until it went to Jim Steinman’s studio in New York that it started to get the drama of something that would end a concert. “When it came back from him, I thought, ‘Well, there’s the encore right there’. I could see everyone in the audience singing this song. Within a couple of nights the crowd had got the hang of putting their arms in the air every time you sing a ‘Never’. “That is pretty much how we perform it to this day. I don’t believe we’ve ever dared leave it out of a set list once. Why would you? It’s always a real pleasure to perform this song. I’m so glad that people, after all these years, still hold it so close to their hearts, so thank you everyone.”

Meanwhile Owen, 50, said Never Forget would be “up there” on his list of their favourite songs as well. He said: “It’s the arms, it’s the story of the band, it’s always such a special moment when you see it with a crowd because everyone can join in and be a part of it.

“Howard sings beautifully on this, he does an amazing vocal on it. It just all came together and it was one of the only times where we all sang a line each, it’s a majestic song and beautiful, from the boys choir from the start to the full gospel choir at the end. “Never Forget is a journey, it is within the song and it has been for us in our lifetimes.”

A Million Love Songs from their 1992 debut studio album also made the top 10 favourite songs, alongside The Flood from their sixth album titled Progress and Patience from their 2006 fourth album.

The band’s favourite tracks were compiled after a vote which opened on November 23 and closed on December 14, which allowed listeners to choose up to three of their favourite songs from Take That’s Top 75 UK chart singles.

Take That movie Greatest Days confirms UK release date

Greatest Days has confirmed its UK release date and released a first look at the new movie based on Take That stage musical The Band.

The movie follows five best friends who have the night of their lives seeing their favourite boy band in concert. 25 years later, the friends reunite for one more epic show by their beloved band to hopefully relight their friendship. Greatest Days will be released in UK and Ireland cinemas on June 16 through Elysian Film Group, following a special premiere event in London on June 15 with Take That in attendance and nationwide previews on the same night.

To mark the release date announcement, the official first look at Greatest Days has been unveiled which you can check out below:



Directed by Coky Giedroyc and written by Calendar Girls' Tim Firth, Greatest Days stars This Way Up's Aisling Bea, Strictly Come Dancing star Jayde Adams, Alice Lowe, Amaka Onafor and Marc Wootton. The cast is rounded out by Lara McDonnell, Jessie Mae Alonzo, Nandi Hudson, Carragon Guest, Eliza Dobson, Aaron Bryan, Joshua Jung, Dalvin Cory, Mark Samaras and Mervin Noronha.

Take That's Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald have executive produced Greatest Days, which is produced by Danny Perkins, Kate Solomon, Jane Hooks, Karl Spoerri and Viviana Vezzani. The international fans really are unlucky, I'd say some of tge European fans but tickets for UK concerts as tgey know uts their only chance of seeing them.

Beloved 90s boy band Take That to release 'emotional' new music after five year break

Iconic 90s boy band Take That is preparing to drop a new song and music video next week, marking the UK group's first fresh material in five years An iconic 90s boy band is set to release brand new music after a five-year-long hiatus, much to the excitement of their devout fanbase.

Take That is working on their ninth studio album, which will include their first original material since they dropped their 2017 record Wonderland. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald have reportedly already produced the music video for the song.

While Robbie Williams and Jason Orange won't appear on camera, it's been rumoured their signature vocals could feature on the highly-anticipated tune. Gary has already shared a teaser for the mystery song, which he has described as "emotional" and reflective of where he and his bandmates "are in our lives now.

"It sounds really different," Gary told the Sun. "I think 2017 was our last official new music and this one I am so excited for you to hear."
The former X Factor judge also revealed Take That fans can anticipate a deviation from the band's previous songs, explaining their upcoming material "sounds really different and emotional and fitting for where we are now in our lives." Gary, 52, went on to confirm they're "very proud" of what they have created, after confessing in 2021 that he was itching to get back in the studio with his bandmates. "I am desperate to get back into the band if I’m honest," he said. "For us, 2023 will be a big year for Take That. It is Mark, Howard and me for the next few years."

In May, the three musicians signed with EMI Records, a renowned UK record label that has previously worked with Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. "It’s very clear that Jo, Rebecca and all the team at EMI share our love and passion for music, and our ambition, and we are very excited about working together," Take That said in a statement.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain in June, Gary revealed he is open to the possibility of Robbie Williams and Jason Orange re-joining the band at some point in the future. Robbie famously ditched the band in 1995 to pursue a solo career, before returning briefly in 2010. Jason departed in 2014, after it was reported he simply didn't wish to live life in the spotlight anymore. Despite this, Gary and Mark appear to be optimistic a reunion could still be on the cards.

"When the time's right it'll happen," Gary said, before being echoed by Mark who added, "I'm not sure, we all hope one day it might happen."
