Hi all,

Just a public message to let you know that after a lot of thought, I'll be stepping down as BJSC mod effectively immediately after four years (along with all of my other modding roles).

It's been great to take a peek behind the curtain and also add my input, my perspective and also my love for the contest into it. But many researching weeks and hosting bailouts later, and with a hectic working schedule most times, I have decided to pull the curtains shut again so that I can enjoy the contest as a mere mortal of the boards. I wish the other mods the best in moving forward, especially Bré who has seamlessly fit into the role recently and should've been a mod WAY before me... you're all in good hands I can tell you and I can't wait to see what you all do with the contest which is such a MASSIVE part of this forum.

I'll always be on hand to the mods as a back-up if you need me, whether it be to scramble together a scoreboard or offer input on anything in a more relaxed fashion - you can always reach me through PM. However, NO MORE BACK-UP HOSTING X If you wanna get my graphix you gotta vote for ma sawng (to the tune of 'Wannabe' I guess) x

Thank you all for your support and I hope I've done you proud, as that's really all the mods want to do for you.

See y'all in BJSC 123... what will you be sending???? I'll know when you do!!!!

LEW! Well, a great way to go out by hosting another time I guess. You'll always be integral to BJSC whether it's behind the scenes or not but you do such an effortless job jumping in at the last minute on so many occasions, you've been invaluable.

Leww has been an absolute rock in the mod forum from basically the minute I joined and especially being our bailout host (who the lord has sought fit to test us with quite a few times in the last 2 years). And I understand that he's now a booked and blessed business fish so I completely understand his decision to step down from the Modship. But knowing how BJSC usually goes it won't be long before we're back with another Aerochian (sp?) hosting again!

Thank you so much for your time, patience and incredibly hard work over the last 4 years, Lew! You're an essential to BJSC, so I'm pleased to see that it's just modding duties you've stepped down from and not stepping away completely. It'd be such a different contest without you!

Thanks for all your hard work Leww, it honestly feels like you've hosted half of the contests in the last few years.

Considering how much of an undertaking hosting is, major kudos to you for stepping up as a backup host on so many occasions, on top of hosting whenever you win (which is often!).

It's gonna be so weird not having you as a mod, thank you for all you've done! I can only imagine back-up hosting 387 times, hosting once is stressful enough

Your presence in the mod forum is going to be missed a lot, thank you for all the hard work you've put in over the years and enjoy your retirement from a lengthy career of stepping in to take over hosting half of the time <3 (ofc relieved that this doesn't mean you're leaving the contest x)

On the rare occasions that you're not actually winning, you always seem to end up hosting anyway and I don't think we can thank you enough for that!! Totally understandable that you're stepping down.

Totally get it, I swear you've either hosted or stepped in and saved like 90% of the contests in the past few months.

You've been an amazing BJSC mod/ constant backup host, hope you get to enjoy being a normal BJSCer now!

Let us hope that we just won't continue needing to have bailout hostings xx (this happening so frequently is a pretty recent phenomenon!)

In the case that it does happen again there are still other mods to step in, it was only Leww so many times before because he kept volunteering to do it, we weren't forcing him to I promise. xo

I can't add much to what's already been said, but if it weren't for your modship we'd probably still be in the middle of BJSC 106 or something Thanks for your tireless work over the years, big shoes to fill but hopefully they will be filled!
