Depends on how one defines "non-charted" - I believe some of these have managed lower (perhaps sub-Top 100) entries, possibly not at the time of contemporary release but subsequently (in the case of those titles never released as a single per se, they might have scraped some later chart action as an album track etc in the post-physical era). 'Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe' by Kendrick Lamar for example - an actual digital single - made No 119 on 20 July 2013, though I appreciate many wouldn't consider this high enough to be a canonical chart 'hit', and that you won't necessarily be aware of such placings if you're not a 'UKChartsPlus' subscriber! Moreover, since 15 July this year the OCC have curtailed the full Top 200 to a 'compressed' 100 only, even to UKCP, ceasing the possibility for lesser-selling tracks to register a known peak below No 100.

I didn't know that Truffle Butter was certified Silver before compiling the UK Chart Runs thread in the Nicki AF last month. Not bad considering it was before streaming was really massive.
Exchange, Cocoon and the J. Cole tracks in the OP are all fab too, didn't know any of those were certified |

I've never heard of Fort Minor ever actually, turns out he is Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park though. I've heard Radio 1 playing 'Remember The Name' quite a few times, always thought it was like a top 10 or so. I see it also only got to #66 in the USA somehow Clearly it's still fondly remembered by some Spotify users anyway if it's made it to 200k 'sales'. |

Never heard of Fort Minor's "Remember the Name" but I do remember "Where'd You Go" which featured Skylar Grey under an alias as well which was quite a song
All For Walls is an amazing song. Deserved so much more than an #85 peak. |

Traditionally, a song was a "hit" if it qualified for the Guinness Book Of Hit Singles, that's the officially listed published charts and there are plenty of tracks that are hugely famous and have never charted:
Born To Run - Bruce Springsteen (ignoring the live version) - peaked at 76 (I think) when the chart was invaded by one act in recent years, and was likely a 51-75 charter during 1975 when the published chart was a top 50? |

So many great songs on this list though isn't there?! Exchange, Best I Ever Had, Remember The Name, Low Life, No Role Modelz, Wet Dreamz, Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe, Truffle Butter, White Iverson, No Games and Pick Up The Phone.
No Games, I mentioned a few weeks ago, gets played every single time I go out... it's baffling that wasn't a chart hit! Exchange is one of those songs that gives me deep feels too. |

Traditionally, a song was a "hit" if it qualified for the Guinness Book Of Hit Singles, that's the officially listed published charts and there are plenty of tracks that are hugely famous and have never charted: Yup, 'Born To Run' made the Breakers Chart back in 1975, which was the next 10 records below 50 which hadn't made the top 50. The run on that chart was: (entry date 25 October 1975) 8-6-x-8-10Born To Run - Bruce Springsteen (ignoring the live version) - peaked at 76 (I think) when the chart was invaded by one act in recent years, and was likely a 51-75 charter during 1975 when the published chart was a top 50? It would be good if the OCC could also publish the old Breakers Charts from 1965 to 1978 and then from 1981 to 1982 on its website. They probably don't have them though... though they only need to ask and I'll gladly provide them! |
