Starting this thread as I was looking through some of my older charts and some songs have completely gone out of my memory:
Apparently this made my Top 15 back in 2016. Giving it a listen now... absolutely no recollection whatsoever. Another from the tropical house era, this made my Top 25 despite 2020 me thinking it's a dreadful cover. Aaand a Christian song by the great Chris Tomlin, but this ain't ringing any bells for me either despite also making my Top 25. Any songs you don't remember in your older charts? |

well my chart's been going for 10 years with it being a top 100 for the past 5 of them so I'm sure there's more than plenty so I'll limit it to top 20s, I'll take them from my chart runs thread in alphabetical order by artist (I'll just do A for now). And it's just about all instrumentals as I usually remember a vocal hook.
Afrojack 12/11/2012 07 Annie's Theme | 27-7-15-40-x I just remember it was one of Afrojack's signature bleepy bloopy house tracks he was known for at the time but couldn't hum the melody to this one. not a classic clearly. Alex Metric 26/05/2014 11 Hope (Alex Metric & Oliver) | 11-21-x Just about remembered the short vocal hook but completely blanked on how the backing went. Short chart run says it all really. Arston 09/06/2014 14 The Universe (Marcus Schössow & Arston) | 18-14-16-27-37-37-29-44-x this is actually a rather good progressive house instrumental, first great rediscovery. • Audien 05/08/2013 08 Iris | 43-36-x-46-8-11-x 15/05/2014 12 Hindsight | 32-28-14-12-16-28-39-x-44-x these sound like great prog trance, I just clearly hadn't listened to them for years. • Axwell /\ Ingrosso 10/06/2013 15 Roar (Axwell /\ Ingrosso) | 39-15-43-42-23-45-x 08/01/2016 10 Dream Bigger (Axwell /\ Ingrosso) | 10-32-x they have a very weird chart history for me, these two I'd blanked on (and don't sound like songs I want to return to often) went top 20 yet Sun Is Shining and More Than You Know both charted at... #41. ...and that's just the letter A, I could be here all night. |

Just scrolling through my old Personal Charts again, here's one from Feb 2017:
 30 [50] Amy Clare & BLSH - Do You Remember? (30-)Not only do I not remember, Youtube and Spotify don't seem to either!  Edit: Found it!  The artist is called Amy Claire and the song is so obscure that it didn't come up when I missed that one letter out
