It's still not in the top 200 on Spotify in the US but it is registering a large rise on Apple Music (#191, up 213 places on 24 hours ago) so there is some sign of streaming picking back up for it. Not even in the top 1500 on UK Apple Music unless that's just Kworb being jank though oops
It's cool to see its Hot 100 peak improving I guess but it is rather :') that it's reached a higher position just from pop radio pushing it with fairly minimal signs of the public interest in the song being renewed when it actually had genuine streaming traction during its original chart run. |

This is a weird way to find out that Dutchavelli is apparently still able to get top 100 hits
Ariana being sampled on hip-hop/drill songs has actually been surprisingly common, this is at least the third time I'm aware of - Lil Uzi Vert's 'Celebration Station' (US #34 hit) sampled 'raindrops (an angel cried)' and Pop Smoke & Lil Tjay's 'Mannequin' sampled '7 rings'. |

Oh wow that totally passed me by so thanks for posting! The pitch of the interpolation reminds me of those slowed down TikTok edits you get.
I wonder if there's any chance of the PinkPantheress - 'Just for me' / Central Cee - 'Obsessed With You' situation repeating, whereby a fresh song gets picked up for a sample and then does better than the original, at least in the U.K. anyway. Shall have to keep an eye on it

You can't help but scratch your head about this whole scenario. The song was already doing somewhat well, the video was produced and is cute, there was no follow up era in direct sight or even in the planning... why not just drop it, it's promo that's already been paid for.
