Gone before he had his time In the closest round yet, we lose In This Life, sparing Fever for another round! Written in memory of Madonna's friends who lost their lives to the AIDS epidemic, the song is moving, powerful and deeply personal. Harrowing and upsetting, it's a truly real and sombre moment. Went for 'Words' at nearly 6 mins, bit overlong for my liking as is the entire album, why did every track have to be so long, some of them could have easily been trimmed down and made the whole thing a lot more enjoyable.
I wouldn't rank this album as one of her best in my opinion, not her worst by any means that goes to MDNA, but still this wasn't my personal fave era of hers. |
