World Cup semis are tonight and tomorrow so I'm not sure I'd be able to make it, feel like Thursday/Friday might be better? (If it doesn't clash with BJSC idk)

I've only just got home sorry x I'd rather not host one tonight tbh as I will be following the football, I can probably do one over the weekend or something.

Anyway now we have the BJSC semi-final dates I'm gonna finally actually set a deadline for this - votes in by Monday 16th July pls (preferably before 23:59 UK time etc. but I'll not be too strict as ever), with results the following evening unless that's clashing with anything that's not immediately coming to mind.

Voted, really not a great contest to say the least oops, only actually wanted to vote for like 5 so just had the other 5 made up of "I guess that was alright", pretty disappointing batch if I'm honest :/

I agree. Like, I love Synth pop in very small doses, but listening to nearly 30 songs feels a bit of a chore. sad.gif

I really enjoyed this, got a little samey and less quality at the end, but generally a great section of songs and I was pleased to see the genre interpreted in a lot of different ways.

I do have to admit this was a pretty underwhelming bunch of songs tbh, I liked most of the songs but a lot were pretty samey and there were only a small handful of really big standouts - gonna try and fit in a second listen before I finalise my votes though so I hope there'll be some growers.

(Also it's still a lot better than most of the other PFSCs have been for me oops - though not as good as the Foreign Language one)

Apologies if people have been disappointed, hopefully the next edition's theme will suit some of y'all a bit more ~
