Found in this in JOTA's 'DANCE ANTHEMS' - This is notable for two reasons - the fact that the artist name looks and sounds like a certain London dance vocalist (but isn't - David Zowie and Vanilla Ace teas) and secondly that it is a cover of 4 Strings 2002 deep trance classic. On the second point I knew it was only a matter of time before someone used Europe's current chilled house era to cover a song from Europe's early 2000s trance era, and I don't think its a bad thing if they keep the progressive style as this one does.
It would be good if this became a hit in Europe to bring back the brilliant 4 Strings song in some form to prominence. And it may, but it almost certainly won't cross over to the UK.
Personal opinion - THIS is the way to cover an iconic trance track, keeping the progressive structure of the original and even some of the original style of synths for the drop. I like how the new vocal stays similar enough to the original style (like the Just Us - Cloudbusting cover does too).
More covers of early 00s vocal trance tracks would be great (as long as they are progressive like this), they are all great songs and it makes a change from the usual covers of 80s or 90s pop or R&B songs in dance that has gone on over the last year or two.
Really like this cover, obviously not a patch on the original but doesn't do it a disservice at all.
Sounds nice, definitely one of the better things you've posted in here recently!
