Rita has confirmed that her new single which is following IWNLYD will be released around March time to coincide with her Voice UK stint.

I was so excited for new Rita music ... LAST YEAR. It seems all she does is disappoint and coming from an ex-Rita stan I really don't see why I was so obsessed with a mediocre star.
As for Testosterone, the single sounds promising and different being produced by Diplo but I don't see Rita peaking again unless she releases a huge collab like Jessie (it's not about the price tag but sells out anyway) J. |

Of course lots of us know about this already, but I've never actually seen the video of Rita audition for Andrew Lloyd Webber's Your Country Needs You (UK Eurovision selection 2009) in which it seems she got to the final 6 for the live shows, but then ultimately withdrew.
I always love looking back at little things like this! |

Not Rita being nominated for an Oscar
 Grateful is up for Best Original Song, it was in Beyond The Lights whatever that is. Really the Oscar is credited to diane Warren as the songwriter but still!

I wasn't a huge fan of "Grateful" when it was released but an Oscar performance is huge for Rita!
 I'm really excited for the next single, "I Will Never Let You Down" was one of my faves last year.
