Great thread idea, Jade! heart.gif These stats are from Last.fm, since January 2012! I've combined different versions of the tracks. cool2.gif I have to admit I'm quite surprised by how low some of these play counts are (me confirmed as being a casual Spice fan ;o!). Solo careers rank:

Melanie C > Emma > Geri > Victoria > Mel B

All five provided great moments. I’d have to put Mel B last because neither album was great, although Hot at least gave us three great singles (I Want You Back, Tell Me, Feel So Good)

Victoria had weaker singles from her debut compared to Mel, but Victoria’s album was stronger as a whole. Her non-album singles Out of Your Mind and Let Your Head Go are amongst the best solo Spice offerings, and the second era showed promise.

Geri had a largely brilliant run of singles, and Schizophonic was fabulous. She was the most entertaining of the girls to follow. Where she falls down for me was with a fairly bland second album and a poor third album.

Emma released my personal favourite solo single, Maybe, and What Took You So Long? isnt far behind in my affections. Her debut album was cute and MOR, which was what was expected of her. However the second and third albums is where she showed herself to have an edge! The 60s vibe was a stroke of genius. Overall far more consistent than Geri when it came to albums, so that’s why I’ve placed her higher.

Melanie C has to come first. She released my personal favourite solo Spice album is Northern Star (such a triumph *.*) and the run of the singles Northern Star, Never Be The Same Again and I Turn To You was flawless! Every album (bar Stages) included a handful of songs I love.
