Surely that title belongs to One Kiss tongue.gif

Depends on your definition of when Summer is; seeing as One Kiss was released in April not exactly the height of summer as it is now or when Shotgun has impacted

I'm loving shotgun at the mo, and I think it will wait in the chart for ages, should be a contender to do the million.

Sure, it's been all over the radio there but that doesn't necessarily make it a hit. Shotgun's peak in Australia is number 69, and it's only been number one in the UK and Ireland. sad.gif

#69 this week after a #87 debut last week laugh.gif It’s also Top 10 in iTunes, which I know doesn’t mean a whole lot these days but it also reached a new Spotify peak of #60 today... so it’s definitely growing into something! I hope anyway, the ARIA chart can be very slow and disappointing or anything that’s not “urban”

But ARIA conveniently ignore half the 'urban' songs anyway wink.gif I think 'Shotgun' seems to be trending pretty well; it's #53 on global Spotify too ('Paradise' only made #137).

Yeah, maybe it will continue to rise. On the whole the ARIA chart seems relatively normal though.

I think George Ezra has Best Male Solo Artist at the Brits next year in the bag. He will probably be nominated for Album and Single (Paradise or Shotgun?) as well.

I doubt it. The single of the year award is usually sponsored by Capital and they don't like him for some reason!

Well, Human won last year, and that was probably the least Capital-friendly of last year's noms.
