Cannot wait!!!! That's for sure his best album cover so far, wasn't too keen on the pictures used for Handwritten/Revisited.

OK I've given this numerous spins now, I found it pleasant but kinda samey on first listen (much like how I initially found Handwritten actually) but with repeated listens, the songs start to differentiate themselves and shine individually. My rate:

10.0 No Promises (my pick for single 3)

The acoustic of Mercy is really nice too, you can hear the vocals a lot clearer and allows you to pay more attention to the lyrics heart.gif

Such a bland album! 'Treat You Better' and 'Mercy' are the only ones worth going back to! (The former is one of my fave songs of the year!)

It's too samey for me too unfortunately. Aside from the singles there were maybe 1 or 2 that jumped out but that was all. It's very pleasant but I think you need to be a massive fan to be able to appreciate the whole album.

Don't give up on it is what I'd say, like I said above it takes a few listens for the songs to start shining individually, a new song is hitting me each time I hear the album right now wub.gif

It is very samey and I'm surprised that 'Treat You Better' is the only uptempo, but I actually found this album a really nice listen!
