Yes, I read that at the weekend. Trouble is, all her likely successors are at least as bad.

..But at least we have a laugh with them as they drag us down, assuming they've all appeared on HIGNFY? Or do I mean "at" them... teresa.gif

Talk of Michael Gove taking over as interim leader to get Brexit over the line when May is forced to quit.

Note, as ever, that the priority is the Conservative party. No mention of what’s best for the country.

The ERG may as well be UKIP at this moment in time.

May is disliked, but a change in leadership is not going to solve the problem.

in anticipation of a change of leader this a great character assassination of a leading candidate, mostly accurate, so accurate he's blocked the presenter. Not a good look when someone is quoting your own comments back at you and expressing an opinion on them....

I watched that earlier. The extent of Raab’s ignorance would be bad enough if he was an obscure backbencher. That he is considered a serious leadership contender speaks volumes of today’s Tory party.

On the other hand of Dominics, one of the few sensible Tories left, Dominic Grieve, has lost a no confidence vote in his own constituency on his Brexit (remain) views.... despite the fact his constituency voted Remain overall. Started by a former UKIP candidate. As if more information was needed that the Conservative Party has been hijacked by unreasonable idiots.

And they're at it again. This time, step forward Scottish Secretary David Mundell. He is claiming that it is "an SNP myth" that No campaigners in the independence referendum ever said that a No vote meant staying in the EU, Was he drunk for that part of the campaign?

Blatant liars in the Trump mold: or mould. Lie lie lie lie lie despite all factual evidence to the contrary because there are plenty of gullible morons out there who will choose to believe it, their memories are so conveniently short.

Blatant liars are the same as blatant hypocrites: loathesome. If only we had more journalists that could challenge them when they do it, where's Krishnan when you need him....

Welcome to the party fellas! They’ve been pulling this shit with the support of BBC Scotland and the mainstream press every day for the past 5 years. This isn’t the first time that useless sack of carbon and oxygen has told a blatant lie and tried to spin up some anti nationalist propaganda. It’s a mystery why he keeps getting re-elected.

That he is the representative of my country in the UK government makes me physically sick. Even worse is that he might actually be the best of the lot from Scotland. Thankfully while repugnant Ruth is doing the rounds of the unionist media claiming she will be the next FM, the polls in Scotland have he on track to lose between 9 and 12 of their 13 seats. I’ve seen a poll that says all 13 when put through the calculator but the mid borders are awfully fond of this weapon so I don’t think we will reach total wipeout.

How do you know if a Scottish Tory is lying? They’re breathing.

More evidence to support just how out of touch the Tories are.

To see people debating this and be in his favour is just absolutely mind-numbing. We are beyond uniting on anything — everything has to be a culture war. It's tragic.

Indeed, the fact she was openly saying it's a peaceful protest and he kept on pushing her kills any argument on the other side as she clearly wasn't armed, that was assault, plain and simple. Disgusting to watch and that people are actually defending that :/

I've seen people on Twitter defending him and it really boiled my piss!

He's now been suspended for this assault.

Note also how everyone else just sits back and pretends nothing untoward is going on - apart from the woman who puts Field's chair neatly under the table.

I'm sure the tabloids will find something to keep these embarrassing stories off the front pages. Someone on Love Island sneezing or something similarly momentous.

The prominent people defending him (Julia Hartley Brewer, Iain Martin, Arron Banks etc.) find milkshaking to be outrageous.

It's not even a culture war, it's just pure partisanship and hypocrisy from the right.
