Demi Lovato's biggest singles on the Official Chart revealed
27 September 2017 | By Rob Copsey

To celebrate the release of Demi's new album, Official Chart looks back at the powerhouse singer's Top 10 biggest singles in the UK.

To celebrate the release of Demi Lovato's sixth studio album Tell Me You Love Me, Official Charts takes a look at the powerhouse singer's most successful hits on the Official Singles Chart.

Nine years after making her debut on the Official UK Chart with This Is Me, a collaboration with Joe Jonas from Disney film Camp Rock, Demi has notched up 10 Top 40 singles, five of which have landed inside the Top 10. On the Official Albums Chart, her success continues to grow; her personal best was with her most recent record, The Number 6-peaking Confident in 2015.

Although Demi's success began to crossover into the UK in 2008/2009, it wasn't until her track Skyscraper was used as an X Factor winner's single in 2013 that she really took off. Originally landing at Number 32 in March 2012, Sam Bailey's version along with its prime time TV exposure sent the original to a new peak of Number 7 the following year. The lighter-waving ballad is Demi's fifth biggest single in the UK, with 318,000 combined sales, split between 223,000 downloads and 9.5m streams.

Demi kicked off her third album campaign in with Cool For Summer, a bi-curious banger helmed by pop genius Max Martin on which she confesses: "Got a taste for the cherry/ I just need to take a bite". The result was a late summer hit, topping out at Number 7 in September 2015. The song is currently her fourth biggest single, with 354,000 combined sales (111,000 sales/24.3m streams).

The singer's highest-peaking single on the Official Chart at Number 3, Heart Attack claims third place on her list of biggest hits. The lead single from her 2013 album Demi, the monster electropop song marked an evolution of her sound and it still packs a mighty punch today. It's combined sales currently stand at 407,000 (298,000 sales/11m streams).

While one of Demi's more recent collaborations, No Promises with Cheat Codes, takes second place with some 38 million streams under its belt, its her duet with Olly Murs, Up, that ranks as her biggest UK single.

Released in Christmas 2014 as the second spin-off from Olly's Never Been Better album, Up logged seven weeks in the Top 10, three of which were spent at its Number 4 peak. The folk-pop number, which also featured on Demi's self-titled album, has shifted a healthy 837,000 combined sales to date, divided between 510,000 pure sales and 33m plays across streaming services.

I can't believe 'No Promisses' is #2. blink.gif

It's a #18 peaking single which didn't even hang around that long.

They didn't 'forget', they just don't include her in the credits for that song for some odd reason, despite her being on the single version.
