Dunno if this has been done on this forum before & totally didn't steal this idea from the Rihanna forum blush.gif. Just some fun little polls here on what's your fave & least fave Kylie follow up single from each of her studio albums, as well as her Greatest Hits albums & X-Mas album for more variety that covers her entire career span to date.

There are 16 songs in each poll & simply just choose your absolute FAVE from the first poll, then pick your WORST, from the poll below. There are some amazing classics here, a few are better than the lead singles, as well as a few not so great moments (I think we can guess what they're are?). But on the whole I think its a pretty strong list of songs there & just kick back & either choose your votes wisely or take some time to revisit these moments, OR JUST DO BOTH.

I will also do a poll for 3rd & maybe 4th singles over the next couple of days.

Ooh fun idea. I voted for 'Wow' for my fave because it was stronger than the actual lead single for that campaign. But I expect 'On A Night Like This' to win that vote (which is fantastic, of course).

For least fave I've voted for 'I Was Gonna Cancel' as it was a death blow at a crucial point of Kylie's career.

I voted the same for the exact same reasons, there are better songs than wow on the list but in this case the second single was far superior to the lead single. IWGC should never have happened as a single, a really terrible decision. Kiss me once was a crucial time in kylies career and sadly it was full of so many bad decisions.

I do prefer on a night like this to spinning around but I dont think on a night like this would have had the same impact spinning around did as the comeback single. Wow on the other hand would have been a far more successful lead single than 2 hearts.

With album material red blooded was a good pick but as in overall single it doesn't do much for me, I never listen to it at all.put yourself in my place is similar to a night like this for me, far better than the lead single but wouldnt have had the same impact as confide in me.

15. I Was Gonna Cancel
16. Celebration

These are my two favourites and least favourites, just with 'In Your Eyes' on top and 'I Was Gonna Cancel' on bottom.

I think I prefer all these to their respective lead singles:

Did It Again
On a Night Like This
In Your Eyes
Red Blooded Woman
Wow
100 Degrees
Stop Me From Falling (specifically the Gente de Zona remix)

Not to say that the leads weren't good though (apart from 'Only You' which is okay but not the best).

With nearly all of kylies albums I prefer follow up singles to the lead singles apart from aphrodite, kiss me once and golden, although with rhythm of love its borderline as I love both better the devil you know and what do i have to do.

So many iconic 2nd singles! Went with PYIMP though as I still love it now, worst has to be Celebration although it’s not terrible.

OANLT but her 2nd singles to me, are almost always better than the leads - from PYIMP to GOOMW, I liked all the 2nd singles more. Some by far.

Worst is I Was Gonna Cancel

Sometimes the 2nd singles i find better as songs but feel they may not have worked aswell as lead single, on a night like this is a good example of that as i dont think it would have had the impact spinning around did. Albums like X however i think the 2nd single would have had a far better impact than the lead single. With others the 2nd singles weren't a patch on the lead singles, Fever and Aphrodite would be the 2 albums i refer to here.
