Hello! About a month ago I got a PM from awardinary suggesting a survey to be ran in the personal charts forum, basically so myself, him and the other mods could find out your browsing habits more.
HERE are the questions I'd appreciate you answering in this thread... QUOTE - How often do you visit the Personal Charts forum? My responses; 1. How often do you visit the Personal Charts forum? I'd say daily but always to view others' personal charts. 2. Do you like to view others' personal charts? Yes certainly, I make some fine discoveries and it's great seeing others place songs I've charted high up their chart! 3. How often do you post your personal chart? Weekly, I aim to do it every Friday. I also try to post an End Of Year chart to review the music highlights from the year. 4. How often do you comment on others' personal charts? I try at least once a week, but often I'm a bit sporadic. I used to much more consistent. I also now only tend to comment on charts by ones who have commented on mine in the past or who acknowledge my comments. 5. How many different personal charts will you typically comment on per time? I'd estimate no more than 20. 6. Do you respond to others' comments on your personal chart? I do my best to, but my way is to respond to the previous week's comments in full when I post my weekly chart. 7. Does it matter to you if others share a comment on your personal chart? Yes certainly, whenever I browse new posts I'm eager to see if my personal chart has received any new comments and I do like to read them and see people's opinions! |

[never, rarely, sometimes, frequently, all the time] Sometimes - How many different charts will you typically comment on per time? Three? - Do you respond to others comments on your personal chart? Yes. - Does it matter to you if others share a comment on your personal chart? Not really, but it would be nice if they showed some support. |

Weekly - How often do you comment on others' personal charts? [never, rarely, sometimes, frequently, all the time] Very rarely - How many different charts will you typically comment on per time? - Do you respond to others comments on your personal chart? Yes - Does it matter to you if others share a comment on your personal chart? Not at all, it's nice if someone does, but I post my charts so people can find new music, but I don't expect too many comments, since I rarely comment myself. But that's okay. |

Usually about once a day (but sometimes that's a very brief visit) - Do you like to view others personal charts? [yes, no, sometimes] Sometimes, viewing 20 charts which often contain the same songs gets a little tedious. There are some charts I do keep a tally of bc they genuinely interest me. - How often do you post your personal chart? Once a week - How often do you comment on others' personal charts? [never, rarely, sometimes, frequently, all the time] Quite often - How many different charts will you typically comment on per time? About 3 or 4 (or more if I'm gunning for the Posters Chart  )- Do you respond to others comments on your personal chart? Yes, I always try to think of a unique response for all people - Does it matter to you if others share a comment on your personal chart? Definitely, I like to know that my charts are being noticed and I'm disappointed when very few people comment |

Daily, yes (depends whose chart it is) - How often do you post your personal chart? Weekly - How often do you comment on others' personal charts? [never, rarely, sometimes, frequently, all the time] Often - How many different charts will you typically comment on per time? I'd say about 5 per week - Do you respond to others comments on your personal chart? Yes - Does it matter to you if others share a comment on your personal chart? I do appreciate it, I like the well thought out comments too rather than 'hi I like ur chart [copy+paste list]' |

probably every day just to check in yes I check others', generally ones that will have similar taste to me so I have something to say - How often do you post your personal chart? every week - How often do you comment on others' personal charts? [never, rarely, sometimes, frequently, all the time] middling, so, sometimes. Generally if there's nothing I like there I'll just not say anything instead of faking it - How many different charts will you typically comment on per time? anything between 1 and 5 - Do you respond to others comments on your personal chart? yes! generally unless I've been super busy - Does it matter to you if others share a comment on your personal chart? I love comments! but they don't come so often. Ultimately a reason of sharing the charts is so people might discover something new they also like :3 |

2. Yes i visit a lot of Personal Charts. 3. Postin P.Ch: Once a week (Saturday evening or Sunday morning). 4. Comments other P.Ch: Frequently 5. Comments on per time: Depends, between two and Five 6. Yes, i respond always to other comments 7. I appreciate feedback on my p.chart, whatever they post! I'm sharing the chart so people discover the overseas tracks and my (Dutch) taste. Also from the past! |

Weekly probably, either to post mine or comment on others. Usually all in go. - Do you like to view others personal charts? [yes, no, sometimes] Yeah, it's nice to see what people are enjoying and sometimes discover new tracks from that. - How often do you post your personal chart? Weekly but sometimes it goes straight in my personal chart archive rather than posting it in the main forum. - How often do you comment on others' personal charts? [never, rarely, sometimes, frequently, all the time] I try to do it if I ever post mine in the main forum because it is nice to give something back if people take the time to comment on yours. - How many different charts will you typically comment on per time? Probably around 10. - Do you respond to others comments on your personal chart? I try to if I find the time but I do prioritise commenting on others' personal charts first. - Does it matter to you if others share a comment on your personal chart? Sure. It's obviously nice when people show an interest in what you're listening to and enjoying at the time but it doesn't upset me if someone doesn't post on mine

I would say daily or at least try to view PCF and charts daily. - How often do you post your personal chart? I post mine every week. - How often do you comment on others' personal charts? [never, rarely, sometimes, frequently, all the time] I try to post and post comments on other's charts as frequent as I can. - How many different charts will you typically comment on per time? Hmm I don't know it depends on how up to commenting I feel but the minimum is like 1-3 per day. - Do you respond to others comments on your personal chart? I do yes! |

This question wasn’t on the original survey posted, but I’m curious to know the answers;
How long do you spend making your personal chart? It seems to take me longer than anything else I do on Buzzjack as I have to firstly think of what order to put the songs in, then write a full commentary, then make changes to my various chart playlists on Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube. Plus... I then trawl through the comments from the previous week and give responses to each one!

How long do you spend making your personal chart?
Between 30 minutes and an hour. I've made a formula on Excel to put the songs in Buzzjack-friendly format so all I have to do is rank my 100 songs and add the Commenters' Chart! |

Rarely in general but that about to change - Do you like to view others personal charts? [yes, no, sometimes] I obviously can't view every chart but I do view some each week; sometimes - How often do you post your personal chart? Rarely since I get the hype to publish a great artist im bopping to atm and then afterwards it feels like chore rip - How often do you comment on others' personal charts? [never, rarely, sometimes, frequently, all the time] Again, I can't comment on all the charts every week but the ones that I view, I will post a comment; sometimes - How many different charts will you typically comment on per time? I'd say about 5-10 charts per week but it just depends on if I'm up for commenting but I like to find new songs and this is the best way - Do you respond to others comments on your personal chart? Yes, I do - Does it matter to you if others share a comment on your personal chart? I'm not too bothered since I like to share new music with others but I won't say no to someone supporting me by praising my music taste - How long do you spend making your personal chart? How long do you spend making your personal chart?
a week! i tend to scan through forums, spotify, livehits, radio playlists, various national charts, youtube, new release listings looking for new stuff throughout the week... any interesting ones go to a spreadsheet, a potential hit list of around 60 tracks... the main chart is points based and lists the 100 highest scoring hits of the week and is 'locked down' on saturday morning... |

Few times a day usually, depending on how busy I am anyway. - Do you like to view others personal charts? Most of the time I'll have a look at the first few in the list I rarely get around to commenting on others charts though these days.- How often do you post your personal chart? Weekly  - How often do you comment on others' personal charts? Not too often, recently I've only been commenting if I see something out of the ordinary/extra interesting on someones chart - How many different charts will you typically comment on per time? 2-3 at the most - Do you respond to others comments on your personal chart? I try my best to respond as soon as I can - Does it matter to you if others share a comment on your personal chart? I encourage it It's nice to know what others think of my music tastes- How long do you spend making your personal chart? I post my chart on a Tuesday for some reason, but I don't start thinking about it really until Friday (you know with new releases and such). I could realistically get my chart done in about an hour or less, but I listen to my chart as I type it up and organise it so it takes me longer than necessary I'm sure
