Has anybody started a free trial for or purchased Disney+? Thoughts? Are you making your way through some classics while we all stay at home, or are you not interested in it? Is there enough content there to keep you?

I'm currently in the free trial period and have been watching High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and while it's incredibly cheesy, I'm obviously going to end up staying to watch all 10 episodes, and falling in love with all the characters. laugh.gif Going to re-watch some old favourites like Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, etc soon too. wub.gif

I paid for mine a few weeks back. Didn't know then how much use I'd be getting out of it!

So far I've watched Return to Oz, Parent Trap, Moana and Saving Mr Banks. TV wise, I've watched a couple of episodes of X-Men the animated series, a couple of episodes of the Clone Wars and 3 episodes of the Mandalorian.

I've also enjoyed the Imagineering story, which tells you all about the theme parks and their history. I watched one episode of Encore and one episode of Disney Weddings...not sure I'll be going back to those!

So, as you can see, I'm definitely getting my money's worth!

I bought it a few weeks back mainly for the Star Wars content but I’ve gotten so nostalgic over the Disney classics/series and the Simpsons, it really is up my street. Not for everyone though, there’s not a lot of new content yet.

i'm so hyped for The Simpsons!! (even though it's already shown every day on Channel 4 omg and I've seen every episode in Seasons 1-12 at least 10 times each already)

I haven't got this yet as I've got most Disney/Pixar animations, as well as the Marvel & Star Wars films, on DVD (whooo) already. Although it does give me a chance to miss all those spin-off shows I missed out on as a kid like The Emperor's New School and Lilo & Stitch spin-offs which are no doubt all terrible but I will enjoy <3. Will definitely be getting it once the Marvel TV shows are released though, maybe a bit earlier for The Simpsons!

I’ve just been watching the Simpsons.

I got it mainly for the MCU shows so I’m just waiting for them to come out.

I might get a free trial but idk about actually getting it. Most of the material they have I'm so familiar with already and can honestly just as easily access them for free! I have been meaning to see Frozen 2 and Onward though, so I may get the trial version for those and see what else is added in the future.

Neither Frozen 2 or Onward are on Disney+ yet, so you might have to wait a bit.

Been watching mainly The Simpsons so far, doing it in chronological order so I've watched the first five episodes of season 1. Surprised how well the show holds up 30 years on!

Also watched Hercules for the first time as well as a repeated watch of The Simpsons Movie! Looking forward to fill in the gaps in my knowledge as well as checking out some other bits. Quite looking forward to watching the 'Imagineering Story' as the inner workings of theme parks are really interesting to me as well as having been and visited a few of them before heart.gif

I’m tempted to try it out but hypothetically can you just do the 7 day free trail and if it’s not for you after the last day just cancel the subscription ?

You can do that, yes. The new programming is being released weekly so you wouldn’t get to keep up with things like the Mandalorian bit if it’s not for you then you can just quit after that week.

I've just got it and got loads of films in my watch list to watch

- Lady and the tramp live action (watched this first it was so lovely wub.gif )
- Christopher Robin (next one to watch
- Tons of Marvel Universe films I've never watched like Guardians of the galaxy, all the Iron man films, Black panther, Ant man...
- Coco
- Pete's Dragon live action
- Wreck it Ralph breaks the internet
- Toy Story shorts

Also going to make my way through the Lizzie McGuire and Boy Meets World TV series I loved them when I was younger, plus think I will watch the Descendants and Simpsons from the start.

Gonna need to continue my subscription lol.

For such a large service with a massive library full of great movies and shows, the streaming quality of Disney Plus really sucks...

I keep getting error messages every other time I try to watch something.

It’s only been two weeks and I’m already thinking about canceling. Will go with another streaming site, corrently doing some research.

Lots of new announcements happening. One of the big ones is that they’ll be including more adult content, so seemingly taking advantage of the Fox catalogue. It means it will include films such as Terminator, Kingsman, Alien & Deadpool and I’ve seen an image that has Bob’s Burgers so possibly Family Guy/American Dad as well?

10 new Star Wars series
10 new Marvel series
15 new Disney/Pixar series

That would be great to get some of that content on the site! I was considering letting my membership go after the first year in March as there's not been much new content added to justify using this and Netflix but I will reconsider!

I’ve literally only watched The Mandalorian and The Simpsons laugh.gif

There should be more reason to have it shortly though as I’m really looking forward to WandaVision! It means I can see Mulan/Onward/Soul too when I get the chance!

Still got plenty of Simpsons episodes to get through!

I want them to bring the classic 90’s sitcom Home Improvement out on their streaming service.

Also, another kids show I enjoyed at the time was called Stick With Me Kid, and I think it was only like 12 episodes or something but I want to watch them again.
