BuzzJack Enthusiast Joined: 20 January 2014 Posts: 1,400 User: 20,494	saw the first episode of this over the weekend. first impressions: a lot of it seemed to have been inspired by takeaway- their's a star of the show (who actually provides the entertainment at the end) like the end of the show show, their's an audience surprise, fun games- and a couple of guests. worth watching- i was pretty impressed and Michael McIntyre is actually funnier than i thought

It's by no means a bad thing though as Saturday Night TV needs more entertainment/variety shows like these two!

BBC need to bring back a variety show like they did way back Seaside Special on Saturday nights with music acts, magicians, and dancers etc etc.

I think the 'Send to All' game didn't feel as good with Geri Halliwell. I was expecting to celeb responses, so it was a bit of a let down. May as well carry on playing with the general public if randoms will be responding!

It looks like, for whatever reason, the BBC hasn't bothered commissioning a Christmas episode since the return after COVID and have opted to stick with The Wheel as the preferred McIntyre Christmas show (not that they couldn't have both).
