NO. Considering how horribly predictable winners from XXII-XXIV were: the top 3 Sound of 2010 won them in order of their Sound of ranking and 4th-placed HURTS finished 9th in one of them and 5th-placed The Drums in 15th. Song-wise, they were probably the best set of winners yet, but the point remains.

I certainly wouldn't recommend it, basically.

it's weird that this probably isn't gonna be started for a while!! i have a song i am dying to send, but i think it'll still have some competition (because a couple of people already knew it LAST contest)

not sure it's very wise to send but i am swooning for it everyday

What I plan to send is changing almost every day. Yeesh, so many good songs out there and I'm still not satisfied.

I predict we'll see a lot of work for the veto team this contest (just saying, I'm noticing loads of songs that could well fall into that category).

The new contest if going by the previous years should start around the last week of January I think? Not sure and a mod will need to confirm this however.

Also, if anyone here is free to listen to my potentials, it'd be grateful! I'm switching up the sounds again this contest and within the list, there's only ONE K-Pop and two western tracks so any feedback is much appreciated here. I will as well return the favour gladly!

Makes sense though! That would actually work out for me because until then my spare time is pretty limited.

Anyway, votes have been cast for this one. One of the very pop songs has majorly grown since I first heard it in the contest.

Yep, the next contest will start in a few weeks time, we still have one special contest to go before we head into our sixth year (!) so keep your eyes peeled.

If it's any consolation I have the exact same problem as anyone else, waaaay too many potentials, not that I'm going to try and do and Aeroche or anything happy.gif
