All Too Well robbed it's easily in her Top 5 songs for me!
LOVE all of the songs in that section except 'New Romantics' which I find a little overrated. Such a solid top 20 though, I think the biggest shock for me is Back to December? I could see Wildest Dreams taking the win. |

New Romantics at #21??? I can't believe that! Probably a little too high but it deserves the love so I won't complain!
I'm so happy for Back To December, Mine and Red making the top 20 among her more obvious faves <3 |

20. ...ready for it [Avg. 9.02] Here we are in the top 20! From here on out, we will be presenting in individual songs. Who better to present this song than yours truly! I'm sure you already know that ...ready for it is one of my favorite songs from reputation. It was released on my birthday (September 17) in 2017. The song is described as "an electropop, industrial pop, and EDM song with elements of dancehall and trap." It sees Taylor rapping over deep synthesizers, heavy bass drops, and programmed drums. Lyrically, the song revolves around a subject that Taylor names a "killer", using Hollywood imagery such as a bank heist, going undercover, ransom, and jail. It received two 11s (Doug, Jade) and several 10s (Among Haus, Dexton, London, MrAndrewMan, me, Ultra) As you can see, the Taylor mods agree that this is a 10 moment for her! It also received some 9.5s, 9s, 8s, 7.5s, 7s, and a low score of 5 (Qween). The video has 300,957,007 views and 3.3M likes! |

Ah such a great song - so well put together & I’m glad it made top 20. I particularly love the pre-chorus. It felt like a shift for Taylor at the time and she nailed it #versatile #queen

'...Ready For It?' is a fabulous start to the top 20! The execution is as exhilarating as a song with that title should be tbh.

Lover[Avg. 9.18] And it’s time for #19 which sees Lover bowing out. I’m so pleased this made the top 20 - it almost made my top 6 songs and if I could have given 7 11s, then this would have been the 7th song. On its release, I played it on a loop and still get the good feels when I hear it and even though I know it was released in August, it still gives me that Christmas feeling. It’s definitely the song I’ve listened to the most the last couple of Christmases. The video is just too beautiful. Taylor performed this song live for the first time at the 2019 MTV VMA’s in an unforgettable performance. I mean, how f***ing awesome was it? If you haven’t seen it, watch it now: https://www.mtv.com/video-clips/h4enx9/mtv-...calm-down-lover The song peaked at #14 in the U.K. and I think it was more deserving of a higher entry; top 10 in the US seems more fitting. This and Cruel Summer were the two stand out songs for me from ‘Lover.’ It was given a number of 10s from me, Among Haus, Jay, Joseph Styles, Mr Andrew Man, Nina West, Ready For It, Tafty and Ultra - all with great taste. Mine[Avg. 9.19] I was so pleased to see that the next song had made the top 20. It’s the first of three songs from Speak Now to make the top 20! So glad this album is getting the love and appreciation it deserves! Mine is a real teen bop, encapsulating the trails and tribulations of young love. It was the lead single from Speak Now and was released two weeks early because it leaked, leading poor Taylor to shed a tear. But nevertheless, it was an instant hit, debuting at number 3 on the hot 100. It later reached number 30 in the U.K. - it was the only song from Speak Now to chart in the U.K. I’m really hoping the release of Speak Now Taylor’s version will bring about some new appreciation for this album. Which track from Speak Now will have the highest placing? The video is a teen dream taking us through the ups and downs of a love affair. Young Taylor is absolutely gorgeous in the video - as is her crush of course. The song scored a couple of 11s from Jktoon and Ultra (who I’m sure will come and write more about their song very soon). It also received 10s from me, Nina West, Klumzee, John-James, Ho-Lee Smokes and Doug. |
