It does seem like he is in a situation where he may want to make an album but is too busy with other things in his career to make an album yet. If he still seems to want to go back to music then that's a good sign though. Thinking about it I don't think taking a 13 year break from music was his plan it's just other things have kept happening and they are great things he's done. We will all just have to keep waiting for new music. Let's face it we're pretty good at it by now This post has been edited by Polly: 23rd December 2018, 11:59 AM |

I 'll wait as long as it takes. I still love his voice, its versatility and above all his range and his ability to blend so well with others in duets or with choirs, especially when he' s singing at the very top of his range. Such control.... It seems effortless.
His natural singing voice is deep like his speaking voice but his falsetto and high notes never sound strained.. The exact opposite in fact. They're pure and clear, almost haunting sometimes. Quite remarkable for a bass baritone. |

I know we're only a few weeks into the year but I was just wondering if anyone had any news about what he's doing or got coming up this year? I'm already starting to think we won't get much from him this year. Sorry I know I said I wouldn't complain.

Was just thinking the same thing Polly! It wouldn't even surprise me if they were together!! Julie Wouldn't surprise me either but I thought the same thing last year when we saw them pictures of them together around valentines day but it turned out that they were actually getting divorced This post has been edited by Polly: 15th February 2019, 12:06 AM |

Watched 8 out of 10 cats does countdown last night and one of the contestants ( I'm not sure what his name is but he's a comedian) said you can make Darius from those letters that's a 6 letter word and I just thought it would be nice for his name to be said on TV again. I felt he said it a bit sarcastic though

Posting this here as well just in case people don't see it in the artist forum hub Tim rice tweeted FHTE is looking good for US and Tim rice also tweeted that there is talk of a UK tour. I tweeted him saying it would be great to have some of the original cast in the tour if they were to do one.

I never knew that Chicago was loosely based on a true story till I watched the chase the other day😀 . Did you catch the name? I love literature, documentaries and investigative journalism. I knew Guys and Dolls was based on short stories so before I went to see Darius in Liverpool, I read the Damon Runyon stories, courtesy of my local library who ordered the book in for me. I read Gone With The Wind and Donald McCaig's "RHETT Butler's People" before I first went to the Shaftesbury. That's why I was convinced that Darius would make a fine Rhett and posted so when the first rumours of a possible show appeared. |
