I'll leak you this then, Grant! wink.gif

BEST SONG

01. Twilight: Breaking Dawn: Part 1: Christina Perri – A Thousand Years (3,2)
02. Tangled: Zachary Levi & Mandy Moore – I See The Light (2,1)
03. Tangled: Donna Murphy – Mother Knows Best (1,2)
04. Drive: Kavinsky – Nightcall (1,1)
05. Tangled: Mandy Moore – When Will My Life Begin (1,0)

I was expecting Tangled to walk this with one of its tracks seeing as it has so many lovely songs but it seems that having three nominees here has caused a bit of vote splitting and Christina Perri has walked away with it instead ohmy.gif Her ballad was a massive chart hit so I guess it's no shocker that it has so many fans.
My personal favourite here was Mother Knows Best, one of the best villain songs in a Disney musical for me wub.gif

I See The Light is better but I can't argue with that winner.

BEST SCRIPT

01. Black Swan (3,2)
02. Bridesmaids (2,1)
03. Captain America: The First Avenger (2,0)
04. Scream 4 (1,1)
05. Crazy Stupid Love (0,1)
05. Tangled (0,1)

So Black Swan already proves popular as expected, I believe it has a big following on Buzzjack so could this be the start of a great night for the film? Fun fact: It was actually the only film of the 10 Best Picture Oscar nominees that year to be SNUBBED in the screenplay category ohmy.gif
Bridesmaids and Captain America also seem to be popular here. It is the much weaker Cap film for me, I've always thought it was a bit of a drag to be honest drama.gif

Expected but deserved win for both the categories mentioned so far!

I assume Mandy Moore is taking "Best Voice Performance"!

BEST VOICE PERFORMANCE

01. Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes – Andy Serkis (3,1)
02. Tangled – Mandy Moore (2,0)
02. Paul – Seth Rogen (2,0)
04. Tangled – Donna Murphy (1,3)
05. Tangled – Zachary Levi (0,1)
05. Gnomeo & Juliet – James McAvoy (0,1)

In recent years, Andy Serkis has become famous for his motion capture work on films such as the Planet of the Apes movies, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars as well as the upcoming Jungle Book film. Apes is probably his best reviewed role and it's not hard to see why when you see how much emotion he manages to convey even when visualised as a monkey!
The Tangled nominees seem to have cancelled each other out yet again and none really come all that close to winning. Once again, my choice would've been Donna Murphy, she's such a good villain wub.gif

Best animated film next!

ohmy.gif ! I thought it'd be an easy win for Mandy even with the other contenders!

Glad Andy won though <3

BEST ANIMATION

01. Tangled (4,2)
02. Rio (1,2)
03. Arthur Christmas (1,0)
04. Gnomeo & Juliet (0,1)
04. Puss In Boots (0,1)

I was going to say that it comes as no shocker that Tangled wins here but then Frozen did lose last time around in this category so who knows anymore laugh.gif Tangled completely walked it though and it is one of my favourite recent Disney movies so really pleased to see that.
Rio does quite well too though gathering three votes, I remember really enjoying that when it came out but never did see the second one. Hopefully we'll get a third one sometime soon too, I'd probably go and watch it tbh!

BEST DIRECTOR

01. Black Swan – Darren Aronofsky (3,1)
02. Drive – Nicholas Winding Refn (3,0)
03. Tangled – Byron Howard & Nathan Greno (1,2)
04. Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes – Rupert Wyatt (0,3)
05. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo – David Fincher (0,1)

Another win for Black Swan, that makes it two for the night so far! A great winner here imo and the best film I've seen by Aronofsky. He managed to make me so edge for the entire run time and I haven't had this much excitement when watching a movie much at all.
Drive puts up a good fight here though and I've heard nothing but good things about it so I really must get around to seeing it sometimes. I thought Tangled was a bit of a shock nominee here to be honest but it's managed to do pretty well ohmy.gif

BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS

01. Black Swan – Mila Kunis (3,0)
02. Drive – Carey Mulligan (2,1)
03. The Help – Jessica Chastain (1,2)
04. The Fighter – Amy Adams (1,1)
05. Crazy Stupid Love – Emma Stone (0,2)
06. The Help – Octavia Spencer (0,1)

Black Swan is, of course, very popular here but I am a bit shocked by this win. It's quite funny that real-life Oscar snub Mila Kunis (she got a Golden Globe nomination for the role) comes top whilst real-life Oscar winner Octavia Spencer struggles in last place heehee.gif I thought she was very charismatic in the film but it's not the most difficult role to play really either.
Drive gets another second placing behind Black Swan, this time it's Carey Mulligan. I wonder if it will be able to take home any awards tonight or if Black Swan will stand in its way? My personal pick here was Jessica Chastain, her role was much more interesting than Spencer's in my opinion ohmy.gif

BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR

01. Crazy Stupid Love – Ryan Gosling (4,1)
02. Black Swan – Vincent Cassel (2,3)
03. My Week With Marilyn – Kenneth Branagh (1,1)
04. Beginners – Christopher Plummer (0,1)
04. The King’s Speech – Geoffrey Rush (0,1)

Aside from Drive, Crazy Stupid Love is clearly another Ryan Gosling film that I'm really missing out on by having not seen it. He gets a lot of first preferences for his role here and it does look like a sweet film so I'll have to watch it some time soon.
My two votes here ended up flopping a bit, my favourite was Kenneth Branagh who was even better than Michelle Williams imo but I guess third isn't too bad. Christopher Plummer was another favourite of mine and the recipient of the real life Oscar for this role, it's a very good film and his role was excellently cast.

BEST LEADING ACTRESS

01. Black Swan – Natalie Portman (5,1)
02. Scream 4 – Neve Campbell (2,0)
03. Bridesmaids – Kristen Wiig (1,1)
04. The Help – Viola Davis (0,2)
04. Blue Valentine – Michelle Williams (0,2)
06. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo – Rooney Mara (0,1)

So Grant couldn't quite get his wish of a Neve Campbell win but she does very well to come second really because there really was going to be no other winner than Natalie Portman for Black Swan. That is now Black Swan's 4th award here so far, Drive vs. Black Swan could prove to be a very exciting battle in Best Picture later!
Considering they're the only two who weren't actually nominated at the Oscars for their roles, Campbell and Wiig do really well to come second and third!

Actually really shocked Neve did as well as that tbh ohmy.gif but glad. Her being nominated was a shock too. But she is amazing in Scream 4 as she was in the first 3 wub.gif

BEST LEADING ACTOR

01. Drive – Ryan Gosling (3,1)
02. The King’s Speech – Colin Firth (2,1)
03. 50/50 – Joseph Gordon-Levitt (1,2)
03. Captain America: The First Avenger – Chris Evans (1,2)
05. Moneyball – Brad Pitt (1,1)

I really wasn't expecting Ryan Gosling alone to win two awards here tonight but here we are after has taken home the awards for both Lead and Supporting actor ohmy.gif I can't comment on Drive but it has been boosted up my watch-list after the praise it's received on here.
Colin Firth took home the real Oscar and comes in second here for his portrayal of King George VI. The only other Oscar nominee here comes in last place, the incredibly charismatic Brad Pitt! (I voted for these two but JGL was really good too tbh and Chris Evans is PERFECT for the role of Cap).
