Well there you have it, we are almost at the end of this with just 2 songs left to battle it out for the winning title. After such as close battle (I mean really close). it's "Lose My Breath" that finally bows out in 3rd place, but literally gaining 1 more vote than "Survivor", the latter of which looked set to go, but a slew of last minute voting saved it from the chop. So it's a 3rd place finish for "LMB" is very good, and considering all the album's follow up singles went ages ago, the last time we saw any of them was in round 10.

I am really glad that this has made it this far, and personally I'd rank it as my favourite DC song, and marked one hell of a comeback after 3 years away, for the group to pursue solo projects. "Lose My Breath" may not be as instantly classic as some of their previous hits, but it's still one hell of a tune and with the evidence of the changing tides of R&B and Hip Hop, they had to keep up with the times and come back full force with something aggressive, mixing R&B with dance, along with a marching military percussion, that could easily be on one of Beyoncé's studio albums. This is what a comeback should be, and it was such a shame that none of the other album's singles, matched this brilliance.

Released in September 2004 as the lead single from their 4th album "Destiny Fulfilled", meaning that this is the last from that era to feature here. It became a massive success by reaching #3 on the US Top 100, giving them their 9th top 10 hit and went one better in the UK by reaching #2, being blocked by Eminem's "Just Lose It" by a mere 2,000 copies, and held that position for 3 weeks and even ended up outselling Eminem's song in the long run. Elsewhere it topped the charts in Belgium, Ireland & Switzerland . as well as managing top 5 peaks in 12 other countries, then top 20 positions everywhere else.
