i don't think it's safe to announce a Tour for next year as they planned that COVID-19 will comback in Autumn.

I think it's really tricky for singers/popstars at the moment (as it is for most professions). They want to tour (and NEED to tour) because it's their livelihood so they are planning and announcing dates, but nobody knows if it's going to be feasible. I have bought tickets to two shows since the pandemic started; I won't be buying anymore because everything is too uncertain and I can't see how we can go from the situation we're in now, to massive shows, in a matter of months.

I won't be buying tickets for anything at the moment it's just too risky. Yeah same. Specially the way that UK/USA are dealing with this virus, it seems too much of a risk for the moment. I would rather invest in the music itself for now and help that way. Tour-wise, I think May might be ok for an act like her but Im not holding my breath.... It would be much safer for her to do Summer concerts or even later in the year... Gosh, Ms Corona really f***ed everything up hey |

I’m not intending to get tickets either, unfortunately. It just doesn’t feel like the right time.

Calm down people if it goes tits up , you just get a refund. Not quite. All the tours and shows that were cancelled/postponed this year, it was a massive struggle to get a refund, so I would rather not. By May next year, I'm sure there will be a vaccine. We live in hope. Latest reports is that even if there is a vaccine done this year, it will take the best part of the next couple years until everyone has it. The levels of stress around that will be wild... I just think it isnt a great time tbh to be announcing tour dates. Let this pass a bit first rather than jumping at the gun. God, I hate capitalism. I really do... |

When I booked for Lady Gaga and she cancelled we lost the £14 booking fee per ticket as the venue don't refund that, which was £84 down the drain I was livid. Yeah similar. It took me MONTHS to get refund from Dua Lipa and Goldfrapp tickets, had to threaten them with a court case and the venue kept the bloody ticket fees too, in the end. LIVID!! So unless these tickets are like £10 each, I think I will wait this time* and purchase when the situation has cleared a bit... *buy This Time by Melanie C, now available on Amazon This post has been edited by Mr.X: 4th August 2020, 10:01 PM |

What's good is that we know she will tour small venues, and those will be the first to open.

This year I bought 2x Kesha tickets (for a friend) and overall it cost £70.65, but when she cancelled I got a refund of £67.90. The £2.75 "handling fee" (i.e. booking fee) wasn't refunded.
Booking fees being refunded seems to vary depending on where they were purchased from. I bought those particular tickets from Ticketmaster. https://www.theticketingbusiness.com/2020/0...-fees-refunded/ |

I don’t mind Kesha! She’s not a super fave or someone I’d feel like seeing live though
