I agree with this, I don't think Katy Perry has made this a hit in the same way Frank Ocean made Slide one. Pharrell really adds to it though, but equally I don't think he is the critical reason to its success.

I agree, but at the same time I can't think of who would suit it more. Maybe a Kehlani or somebody.

Yeah maybe Kehlani, but definitely someone with a more 'urban' sounding voice.

'Feels' is a great record though. I love the bassline on it. Pharrell and Katy's voice makes the song sound great too.

Turns out I was wrong about ACR being applied on the chart it's having its 3rd week of declined - OCC have replied to me and confirmed it's held back til the 4th week (from the first sales flash on Saturday).

Tinashe would've sounded nice on Feels, and she's worked with Calvin before too. Or Kelis.

Interesting, thanks for posting Ben. It makes sense for it to apply from week 4 otherwise a track could be drifting in and out the midweeks all week on week 3.

Kelis would've been so good on Feels! I love Katy on t though, I think she really suits it too, even if she is trying to be Gwen Stefani.
