Now that Ronnie has made the maximum. I'm hoping that it won't be £5,000 for the 147 at the World Championship surely not.

Well, you'd get the 'highest-break' prize on top of that 5k.

Great win for Slessor again over O'Sullivan. To beat Ronnie twice in the same season is pretty special achievement.

So unless Jack Lisowski or Tom Ford wins this event its the 16 as it stands and Mark Allen will be 16.

Today looks like being yet another runaway final with Selby leading 8-2 at the interval. Don’t know what Barry’s pot success rate was but he seemed to miss a lot of easy ones so I’d guess a lowly mid 80’s.

Would anyone watch the World Seniors Snooker Championship if it were televised?

Yes I would watch the World Seniors Snooker Championship if it was televised. This year it went to Aaron Canavan from Jersey who beat Patrick Wallace on a respotted black.

Some pretty generous looking odds for anyone whose name is not O'Sullivan. tongue.gif

For a second there I thought Liang was going to do two maxes. Massively pleased for him to come through that one though, we need his character at the Crucible. Hopefully someone will tell him the correct way into the stage
