I was hoping it would be a Larger Than Life/Stronger style sounding song (You'd imagine they would do this sounding song if they did collaborate). The end result is very underwhelming.

Another Scottish version of Fairytale of New York this year making the itunes chart after Fairytale of Stornoway by Peat and Diesel ft Mairead last year, this new cover is not quite as enjoyable though.

I was hoping it was going to be a new jack swing song too.

Also, each of his songs has had parody artwork that is unrelated to the artist - first year it was Buble, then The Beatles, now Queen. So that's why it looks like Queen, but it is definitely based on Journey!

Around 2015 there was a Bicep song called Gotta Let You Go which was a huge club hit where I live. And I'm not exaggerating, I heard it regularly for about 2 years in many different places (mostly at raves). Maybe it was just the same DJ playing it everywhere, I don't know, but it's true.

Great that the LM fans have got behind a song that means something to them and sums up the band but I would have preferred a boost for ‘Sweet Melody’ seeing as it’s smashing - they could have got behind the 5 remixes and sent those up the iTunes charts.

This isn't about the charts though. This is just the fans showing their love and appreciation for Jesy and the girls with a song that fits the situation beautifully. It's not like Sweet Melody is suffering from it anyway It's at #5 whilst No Time For Tears has climbed back in the top 10 and is up to 9!

There's gonna be a similar campaign for 'The Cure' from their LM5 album on Friday too, which is just as poignant!

They're not gonna trouble the charts, so I don't see the harm tbh. It's such a lovely gesture.
