"Brazil, I'm devastated that I'm not well enough 2 come to Rock In Rio. I would do anything 4 u but I have to take care of my body right now.
I ask for your grace and understanding, and promise that I will come back and perform for you soon. I was taken to the hospital its not simply hip pain or wear & tear from tour, I'm in severe pain. I'm in good hands w/ the very best doctors" How long will she be out? Come through warrior queen <3 |

Seeing her live is EVERYTHING to me, the 3 times i've been have been pretty life-inspiring and DEFINING moments, but i'd have her cancel the tour in a HEARTBEAT if it meant she recovered faster. Hopefully it doesn't come anywhere close to that happening, but I'd rather have her healthy and happy than performing for the sake of it and putting herself in more agony.

Yep 1000%, I haven't seen her before so would be gutted in a way but I couldn't selfishly wish for her to perform in pain and compromise her health just because of that, you can reschedule a gig or there'll be other tours. Health comes above all! |

I've not seen her and I don't have tix currently, but I can't see how people would possibly be mad if it came to her cancelling! Her health is the most important thing to focus on. Wishing her all the best in this situation!

She has fibromyalgia. One of my best friends has it and when she gets it she just needs hot compresses, meds & rest. it can be literally gone within a day or she can have it for weeks, it's very strange.
in this case, i'm not too worried.. they've probably had to prioritise gigs instead of pushing her & hoping that she can rest before the european leg of the tour resumes. |

I don't know much about the condition so thanks for posting this! Hopefully it is short-lived then. Do you know if it's a lifelong condition that keeps returning or is there a cure? |

It's a lifelong condition and there is currently no cure, but it can be managed with treatment. I feel bad for Gaga, she's not had an easy ride over the years with her health issues. Absolutely devastated for her. Wish her well she will come back fighting and stronger than ever after this!
I'm seeing her in a months time in Birmingham but obviously would much rather her postphone and be well in herself. She really deserves this rest next year! |

Gutted for her, hope she gets better soon As with a couple others I'm going to see her in October but obviously her health is way more important than one night so that's what she needs to focus on. Hope it doesn't end up coming to that though
