I really hope she can continue to be a big success with this and wasn’t a one album wonder!

Judging by her recent sell out tour and the impact she had on Saturday at Big Weekend, I think this and the next era for RAYE is going to be huge.

RAYE getting the headline slot of Saturday, felt a bit like one of those 'finding the next headliner' moments, which sometimes you have to be brave with from the bookers. I'm not a huge fan, but her set up is incredible, a bit of a lazy comparison, but definitely Winehouse vibes. As long as the material is good, I'd say she's got all the tools in the locker to have an absolutely huge next era and take festival headliner slots.

She's coming to save British music, which is nonexistent in the charts these days.

Not sure if you’ve been aware but she’s been doing Genesis exhibitions, started in Berlin on Wednesday, Netherlands on Thursday and Paris on Friday. I went today to the one in London and it was amazing.
Such a cool concept too, she puts a location on her story (for London it was tough trade at the old Truman’s brewery) where you go to pick up a wristband and there they tell you a time slot and location for a free gig! I had the 7.30 time slot (she does 5 performances) so you queued up half an hour early they take you in and her and the live band performed the song in its entirety! Short bit sweet, awesome concept and the song is absolutely incredible, I don’t think I’ve been this excited for a single since Maisie peters cares brother in 2022!

Not sure if she’s doing any more exhibitions but they are absolutely brilliant!

We're going back to the 70s laugh.gif I much prefer this trend to song durations being 1:50 etc.
