Welcome to Quavo, Medhelnia. We'll be hosting the BJSC 96 confirmations and semi's, and our friends over in Suedonia will be hosting the final.
RULES YOU SHOULD FOLLOW:
- don't be a cheap h0 and send something that's already been http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=104463 before, OR something that's an obvious http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=196914, it'll save the mods a lot of time
(eg. plz don't go sending the Bieber remix of Despacito, it probably won't get thru the veto x)-
- don't send any any of the top 3 artists from the last contest! so that's Bleachers, Stockholm Noir and Me & My.
-
- also (if there were any), last months non-voters can't enter. you know who you are (because I most certainly don't know who you are x)
-
- don't send the artist you sent last month!

Oh fantastic, there's a BJSC again. I am going to take a little while before I decide I think, depends whether I feel like going down in flames this month or whether I want to have a go at it.
I have a lot of choice and nothing DESPERATELY standing out, maybe I'll go with my original plan, maybe I won't. I'll get back to you.

Good question, as a group we've decided to use all of our extra time to creating http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=198200 instead of updating those stats when the ultimate aim is to get rid of them anyway. The bulk of the work for stage one of this is complete, so I think you can expect to see something publicly within a few weeks!

Confirmed a summery dance track complete with copious amounts of sax, percussion and a mild tropical vibe (which actually complements the track rather than sounding shoehorned in or like a bandwagon jumper).
Really intrigued to see how this will do, I've never sent anything in this language/from this country before *.*

Going to make a comeback this month now exams are over. Feels like it's been a while since I've discovered loads of great new tracks so I have high hopes

If you'd be able to listen to all the songs in the couple of days before you leave you can just send in a ranking of all the songs which can then be used for your final votes!

Spadz literally voted for the first ten songs in the semi final in the order they appeared as he didn't listen to his semi but didn't want the deduction. He subsequently got caught out and received a deduction and then didn't vote in the final.
We'll all forgive that though but I understand if you don't want to rejoin as it is quite time consuming.

BLACKPINK's song is substantially better than 'Playing With Fire', still not really my thing but passable by K-Pop standards
Christie & The Dream Beats is a good pop track, would have done really well probably
The War On Drugs is an absolute beaut would have been a lock for high points from me, a shame to see that one not making it through (and imagine if we had a contest with 2 different 11 minute entries!! interested to see what direction Zanmatony have gone in this time ~)
St. Vincent is not bad but sounds like something I wouldn't vote for, a bit like one of Syndare's more middling entries (sorry Dandy ;o)

We're so used to having repeat hosts in recent months that we haven't bothered to give rundowns of how the spreadsheet votes turn into actual veto notifications, so that's our fault. But for future reference, while we put our votes on the spreadsheet so we can keep track of where we are at, a veto never becomes official until one of us PMs the host with the breakdown.
In this instance I think our votes from Harve's previous entry weren't removed immediately, as it has to be done manually, so mdh mistakenly took those votes as referring to his latest entry.
Innocent mistakes all round and all solved!
