I actually really liked these guys on X Factor even if they were mentored diabolically. Hopefully their music is a lot better than some of the songs they were performing on the show. Are they even signed though? I thought they are in a contract with Simon still like all of the finalists in the series.

I feel like I'm being stupid, but I can't see anything about a single anywhere on Twitter or Facebook. There's a tweet from Betsy mentioning about an album snippet on BBC Radio Kent tomorrow, but I can't find anything about a single.

The post I quoted in the OP. They posted a pic of Tom (with Mikey in the background) on the phone - I presume listening to the track - along with that post.

I knew I should have screen shotted. They definitely posted it and have seemingly deleted it now :\ Unless it's because Charlie got mixed up, got fans hopes up and now Betsy has corrected everyone by saying it's just a snippet from the album. (Although a "snippet from an album" could be a track.)

I'm really excited for music from them but this clip isn't particularly great (and also sounds like it's solely Betsy?!) I'm looking forward to their album though and glad that things are moving fairly quickly for them!

This is ridiculously good. It's very simple, melodic, catchy and infectious! I agree with the Alphabeat sort of comparisons. Very much looking forward to the album even more now!

Looking into the reactions to this further, I just can't believe how cruel people can be. As the guys have said on Twitter, they had so many videos that had accumulated so many views - they must have had millions of views on their channel which they have been posting videos on for several years. For everything to be snatched away by a group of hackers is just awful, and it also highlights how vulnerable we all are on the Internet considering how easily this seems to have happened.

If I were them I'd be devastated and I'm sure they are too despite the brave face they are putting on on Twitter and Facebook. It's most definitely not a publicity stunt, but I hope that they get some publicity for this and lots of public support just so they don't lose absolutely everything and also to highlight what can happen on the Internet.

Ooh glad for them that this has been swiftly re-uploaded. I've given this repeated listens now and the first verse/the way Parisa pronounces 'chance' in the middle 8 both make me cringe a bit, but I'm loving the chorus. Really cute and infectious! Hopefully this can do okay for them officially as I'm still rooting for them, their X Factor performances were fantastic in the last series and this is promising too!

I saw Only The Young live this evening at Newark Festival! They and Shayne Ward were the support act for Boyzone and they opened the festival with a 30 minute set.

They have such great stage presence and really got the crowd going! Parisa and Mikey also waved to us, and I think Betsy saw us too, as we were behind the stage while waiting for them to begin and saw them getting ready to go on stage. Their setlist was if I remember correctly, I may have missed one out:

Blame It On The Boogie
Something About The Way You Look Tonight

I Do (original song - of course!)

They confirmed they release of 'I Do' was July 31st and that they were coming to our local radio station on July 15th, so it's looking like they will be doing a radio tour week commencing July 13th!

Parisa's leaving letter popped up on my Twitter, followed subsequently by the members asking fans to follow solo accounts from now on instead. Then some of those tweets were deleted and have now been posted again - mess.

A shame to hear of the split as I really warmed to them on X Factor last year, though not too surprising with 'I Do' not exactly setting the charts alight. I really could not imagine the group as just a trio so I had a feeling that split news would be on the horizon following the initial Parisa announcement.

They’ve only gone and released their full studio album that was in the works prior to the split! Amelia Lily, Jade Ewen take notes and put your albums out there too!
