...and so March 2012 becomes the fastest month to ever pass. The four days of sun were good whilst the lasted though; for now, get ready for April showers and whatnot.

I'd say the most exciting thing for me this month would be going to Centre Parks for a weekend with my family and my mother's birthday party at the end of the month. But exams are fast approaching, so the month will probably go ever quicker than this one! sad.gif

What are you up to in April?

As soon as I come back to Belfast, the weather goes to shit. Lovely!

I'm home for the majority of April, and it's a bit of an adjustment being around the family again, as lovely as it is being here.

Spent the weekend in Manchester, which was lots of fun! I was ridiculously drunk on Friday night and was getting STALKED by some random guy all night until I left (when I then got lost walking to my hotel laugh.gif!)

Anyway, on to APRIL. My favourite month of the year, going home to Norwich for a couple of weeks, for easter and my mum's birthday and then back to London for my BIRTHWEEK CELEBRATIONS biggrin.gif

In other news, I have a job!!

I have a school trip to Alton Towers in 20 days, much excite biggrin.gif A day off school is always welcome ofc, but when you get to piss about with your friends at a theme park it's even better! It's so close we've even started the childish 'I'll sit next to you on the way and then x on the way back' thing laugh.gif

2012, is going TOO DAMN FAST. This April will mainly consist of revision because some idiot thought it'd be a good idea to schedule all of my exams BEFORE STUDY LEAVE!

Alton towers is my second home. I went a few weeks ago because Waitrose and John Lewis had the park for the day and it was just amazing.

Oh, you’re going to have a blast! I went in Year 8, although we went for three days, which resulted in our school being banned from ever returning. Somehow, the teachers managed to do enough persuading to get one more chance the following summer, only for us to go Round 2 on that shizz; by the middle of the first night they gave up even trying to keep us under control, retreating to the bar in defeat to share a bottle of rosé between the three of them. In the end, security had to stand outside all of our rooms so we couldn’t leave (there was 11 of us cramped in one room I believe) and we were slapped with a perma ban. If you’re going to do it, you have to do it right *.*

It really was, our school used to run loads of trips during the last week of summer term, and I think the maths teachers who organised the AT trip were hoping the second year they would get some better behaved students, only for the exact same group to sign-up, bringing along more friends who heard what happened the first time around.

Alton Towers itself is absolutely massive though, so you need to get the skyline cart thing across from one place to another; one year it absolutely pissed down the second day, and going back halfway across our overloaded cart stalled, so we were left dangling above the wooded section of the park for a good 10 minutes, being blown side to side by the wind, while we were drenched from the rain. I know some of my friends stole some stuffed animals from the game stands, but I think apart from that, our reign of terror was mainly resigned to the hotel.

Also, AT is definitely the best theme park I've ever been to, I went to Disneyland Paris in Year 7, and beyond the Space Mountain ride, it's a bunch of overrate shite.

My school ran a trip to Alton Towers at the end of Year 9, but my parents wouldn't let me go on it because it was too expensive. Hmph.
