Something will take off outside of TOTPs that has hung around for a while at a low peak like Jonas Blue or Tom Zanetti!

I'd like to see "Years & Years" get a boost thanks to that performance

I'm loving this version of Rockabye without Sean Paul.

It really is such a good pop song, fair play to them for getting Christmas #01 with the least christmassy sounding song possible laugh.gif.

Am I the only Buzzjacker who likes Sean Paul's rap in Rockabye?

It's not that I mind it as such but I prefer Anne-Marie.

I agree, Sean Paul's part isn't bad, but it kinda takes away from the message of the song, and can make it hard to take seriously. Anne-Marie is far better.

Not at all! I just don't think it would sound right now if I heard a Sean Paul-less version (I'm aware that's probably most likely because I'm used to how it's always sounded)

Speaking of a Sean Paul-less "Rockabye", I reckon every NOW spin-off or other compilation which gets released next year will probably include this version

Its like how the Cheap Thrills version without Sean Paul between bits of the chrus doesn't flow as well imo. The Sean Paul-less Saturdays What About Us just seems to have a big blank between the two lines of the bridge/buildup.

The Sean Paul-less version of 'Hair' is also vastly inferior. He really elevates a lot of songs for me.

So does anyone know if TOTPs on Xmas day had any effect on the chart?

No way, the song just doesn't sound right with Sean Paul on it. Plus she sang that strange second verse that no-one's heard before, really didn't like the lyrics on that, so I'm glad they cut it out of the single version!

Any song featuring Sean Paul is majorly improved with his removal, he's just that unbearable.

I would be interested in buying versions of songs without him.
