First official image for this has arrived and I am already buzzed for it tbh, didn't realise how much I wanted this 'til it was announced
Get this cast too!! : Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Colin Firth, Angela Lansbury, Julie Walters, Dick Van Dyke, Ben Whishaw
No doubt she'll be a raging lesbian in an attempt by Disney to be "modern"and different.
So hyped!! That cast is fab and Emily looks perfect <3
I adore Meryl, Julie, Emily and Lin so this better not disappoint!
First official image of Lin-Manuel Miranda too:
The costumes look great actually and I think he's really likeable from what I've seen of him, hope he doesn't put in any raps though
New on-set image released!
I don't even know why but I'm so buzzed for this, can't wait to hear Emily Blunt singing again too, I think she's going to be fabulous!
Ahh, this all looks so cute I wish it wasn't still 18 months away, I can't wait that long to see Blunt, Streep, Walters and Lansbury in the same film!!!1 Yaaas at Meryl slaying the cast with her song by the looks of things *-*
GAH she looks amazing

Teaser trailer (and that's literally all it is )
Excited!
The official trailer is out. I will admit I shed a tear. So much Nostalgia and throwback to when I was a child
It looks fantastic. Really excited!
I think the new trailer looks really good. Quite looking forward to this.
Looks almost just like the original with the merging of animation styles! That's a good thing definitely and I'm impressed, can't wait to see this <3
fabulous film, lovely, nostalgic, great songs, captures the spirit of the original without being slavish and a great cast to boot: 3 Mamma Mia's (Colin Firth, Meryl Streep, JUlie Walters), an original cast actor (Dick Van Dyke is legendary dancing on a table and singing at 93) another classic Disney actor (Angela Lansbury) and the younger leads were fab too. Emily Blunt is a little more errr blunt than Julie Andrews but really good in the role anyway, Ben Whishall is also less loveable than the little boy version, but the plot called for that, one of my fave long-time sci-fi/fantasy actors (David Warner) makes a good ongoing cameo, and the big discovery for me was Lin-Manuel Miranda who was pretty much unknown to me, but starts the film off with an instantly engaging performance that carries on throughout the film - complete with convincing British accent (and yes Dick Van Dyke also got it right - not that any kid ever cared about that, he was in so many Disney or Disney-style kid movies and his own classic sitcom, he was just beloved by that 60's generation).
I'm gushing a bit, but it was so heart-warming for older folk to see an old-style fantasy musical extravagaza free from cheese, misery or realism, that had songs written for the film that worked as part of the film and were much better than I was expecting. 8/10 and in amongst the best films of 2018.
Oh yes, a little girl of 3 or 4 was literally dancing in the aisle with joy at the songs during the screening. Result!
I really loved this. I thought it was so cute and sweet. The songs were familiar in sound and sounded like classic Disney to me, which is a good thing. I thought Emily was fantastic and really owned the role of Mary Poppins. Lin-Manuel Miranda was my highlight though. He's just ridiculously talented and was extremely charming in his role.
So good.
