 Back again, apologies for the huge delay. We now visit the latest full studio album from Gaga - the manic, crazed, frenzied ARTPOP. What it means, is anything you want it to be. The album came off the back of the huge Born This Way era, an era that spun hit singles, big album sales and a gigantic world tour. How would she follow the success of that? The answer, throwing everything and anything at the wall and seeing what stuck. The album divided opinion, tracks that people despised, grew to love and and everything in between. It became a messy campaign, singles without videos, promotion that didn't really work and it seemed like the public weren't here for the arty-pop she had to offer. Still it had middling success, with some songs becoming well-known Gaga anthems and others that sunk into oblivion perhaps never to be heard again. So this is where you come in. Which of the tracks are you still loving and which deserve to be thrown out of the gagasphere? I am sure this series will be explosive, it seems we've all got something to say (good or bad) about this era.. First round, have your say~ Deadline: Wednesday evening. |

I'll have to give the album another listen but I remember 'Jewels N Drugs' being pretty bad.
'Venus', 'G.U.Y', 'Sexxx Dreams', 'Do What U Want', 'ARTPOP', 'Swine', 'Donatella', 'Gypsy' and 'Applause' are the only ones I remember properly liking, but none are up there with her best. |

I really did not like 'MANiCURE' initially but it slowly crept on me and now I love it. I find it too much and quite sickly at times, but oddly entrancing and enjoyable.
