Yeah Marcus Tandy was great, had that suaveness about him but also menacing too, loved that Renault of his too smile.gif

Simon Gregson of Coronation Street liked it too, he is probably the most famous real owner of the Renault Alpine GTA.

also did you know that...

A Triumph TR7 (with modified bodywork) was used in the special effects as a replacement for Marcus Tandy's A610 in the last episode of BBC 1 soap opera Eldorado, when the car exploded in one of the final scenes

It was utterly dire when it started out with Ardal O' Hanlon, but they've actually done the impossible now, and made it even WORSE with Ardal's replacement..... laugh.gif laugh.gif

Laughable, for all the wrong reasons....

Yep, My Hero gets on my list too....

however it seems not to be on the list.

French and Saunders are at 34, that seems to be the most recent comedy show

i dont know, think it might be in the radio times.

it also had Clive James Postcard from is at 43, which i quite enjoyed when it was on sky travel a couple of years back (however that might be slightly different as the dates are given as starting in 1990 and sky travel were more of the late 70s/early 80s having references to Dallas on one show). i suppose there have been worse travel shows.
