I have both of their older albums, I prefer the newer two as I first heard of them when Final Straw came out. If I had to pick between the first two albums, It would have to be Songs For Polarbears. I adore Velocity Girl

A lot of people don't know that they had 2 albums before 'Eyes Open' and 'Final Straw'

In fact I didn't know either until I was reading a review in the paper for 'Eyes Open'. When they said it was SP's 4th album I thought they'd made a typo or something! I can remember going on their website a while back, and it only having info on the latest 2 albums

I own all 4 Snow Patrol albums, i like some songs off the earlier albums, such as 'Firelight' and 'An Olive Grove Facing The Sea', but no, doesn't compare to the more recent stuff
