Why don't any of our radio stations do things like that?!?!?! That would be unbelievably cool.. a full 24 hours of non-stop Arctic Monkeys. Would make a nice change from the usual tripe they play these days laugh.gif

It's.. alright. They do play tripe though from time to time.

It's a shame they don't let most DJs choose their own playlists instead of giving them a list of 50 songs and saying 'You Must play these'... it'd be interesting to see what Scott Mills and Chris Moyles ACTUALLY listen to laugh.gif

Yeah I mean I can imagine all Jo Whiley and Edith Bowman etc would be well playing just decent music in general, but well I don't think Chris would actually play any music at all if he had the choice. laugh.gif and as for Scott it would probably concist of camp pop and dance tunes. laugh.gif

..

..In which case, I think the Radio 1 playlists are an excellent idea. I think more DJs should be force-fed playlists thumbup.gif

Funny, that's exactly what Scott Mills said this morning laugh.gif

There are a lot of excellent tracks around at the minute, most of them are highlighted in your chart thumbup.gif

No bother, it was a pretty good little compilation! I would do one, but it would basically be identical to the top 10 I post in the multichart... no pop or dance or rave or trance or rap or hip hop or r'n'b i'm afraid

Yeah my music taste can be a little diverse at times. I have tracks in my chart from most genres, which is a good thing IMO. happy.gif

Yeah, it adds a bit of colour

I know fine well that if I post a chart, most people will turn around and say "Ugh.. that's one BORING charts it's all indie/rock... bla bla bla"

But at the end of the day, it's the sort of music I like cool.gif

Well I mean its YOUR music taste and well I don't really care if someone says that I like an artist thats $h!t, because well its your music tatse and you have the right to decide what is good and what is bad. tongue.gif I'm sure that if you posted your chart a lot more people would like the tracks you put on on your chart more than you think. laugh.gif

We'll see.

I'm still relatively new, though, and besides you and a few selected others from the Snow Patrol forums etc, not many people have spoken to me yet.

Not to mention a good two thirds of the people in this forum like Pop and Dance music

I'll post one when the time is right smile.gif

Back on topic, though... when's the next Arctic Monkeys day?! laugh.gif

Yeah most of the forum do like pop and dance music but theres also a lot of indie people around. happy.gif But well the majority of the people around here who do like that sort of music really are kool. happy.gif

And oh yeah we best get back on topic now. laugh.gif I don't actually know to be honest. ohmy.gif Might be a while though. sad.gif
