The 'Bombastic' bit reminds me a little of the chorus of P!NK's '$l*t Like You'

^My first thought was, "huh, she's doing a Shaggy tribute I guess?" then I remembered "bombastic" is a word
I don't really like it on first listen, the chorus sounds like it's trying to be bratty a la Charli XCX but it's just...grating (the way Charli sounds to some people here I assume). Incidentally I hear some similarities to "Gold Coins".

Parts of it remind me of Connor Maynard - Vegas Girl. Which isn't a good thing. I also agree about the intro sounding very Kesha - Blow too.

I'm really starting to fall in love with this song. It's so far beyond what I would ever have thought Bonnie McKee capable of. It's delicious.
The video is f***ing sensational, credit to her for going all out and capturing that vaporwave aesthetic. The whole thing is at least a 9.

So, I finally decided to listen to this at long last, it's different to American Girl which while I love that, is a very good decision because it felt so derivative of everyone she wrote for before, but this actually isn't. I'm torn about what it is though because it feels like about 3 different songs in one... I think I really like it? I love the video anyway, I'm just trying to work out exactly how I feel about the song. I think however I feel, I'll be hooked if I listen to it enough.
She's absolutely one of those people who's never going to be known outside the internet gays sadly, file beside Bebe Rexha, Nikki Williams, Kaci Battaglia, Natalia Kills (X Factor aside) amongst many many others, no doubt.
