nabad Pronouns: he/him Joined: 13 February 2013 Posts: 28,363 User: 18,316	Moments Kicking off the countdown to find out what exactly Sandé's fave One Direction song is, is 'Moments' - one of the yearbook edition bonus tracks from the début album 'Up All Night'. Just listened to this again and it really is fantastic. Obviously Liam kicks the song off, as he did with nearly everything on that album because he was supposed to be the one that was going to be adored by literally everyone and the others would be mere backing singers. Sadly it wasn't meant to be for him though. The song itself has a beautiful chorus, but the best thing about it for me is the lyrics. Rather touching. What do you all think of the song? obligatory Zayn gif 034 / 'Moments'

I wasn't particularly keen on this track to begin with and it didn't really stick out as a highlight or one that I'd see myself going back to a lot, but as I listened to the album more and more it kind of just got stuck in my head and now I absolutely love it! The chorus is everything, and it's such a Harry song! I'd love to hear this live back-to-back with 'Little White Lies' - both would sound incredible together! What do you all think of the song? 033 / 'Alive' 034 / 'Moments'

Didn't really listen to this a lot when I first heard the album, but it's now a firm favourite (even though most of the album falls into that category ). Liam's solo at the beginning is one of his best of many I think, but still, the song would benefit having less of him in it x What do you all think of the song? 032 / 'Half a Heart' 033 / 'Alive' 034 / 'Moments'

This gets far more "hate" (or is it just a really under-appreciated song?) than it deserves, but it's really great. Rounding off the 'folk' section of the album, it's really gorgeous and of the nature I'd like to see more of from the boys with the next album, although I think we're in for a mixture of absolutely everything with the fourth instalment. Of the b-sides it's only my second favourite because nothing compares AT ALL to the fabulosity and amazingness of 'Na Na Na' - which should have been a main album track. 'Another World' shits all over 'I Should Have Kissed You' however. This would have made a great single (although NOBODY please say that it should have been in place of 'Gotta Be You' or I'ma ban you x). 'One Thing' is a good song, yes, yes it is. But, it's definitely one of their weakest singles if not THE weakest and I just don't really go back and listen to it that much when I'm going through 'Up All Night' or form a playlist of their singles. The video however is amazing though, definitely the right level of fun mixed with One Direction banter. The only time I'll ever appreciate Louis because he's so close to Zayn xo What do you all think of the song? 029 / 'One Thing' 030 / 'Another World' 031 / 'Something Great' 032 / 'Half a Heart' 033 / 'Alive' 034 / 'Moments'

The third single from the album of the same name that really kind of flopped is really anthemic and sounds so brilliant, but just falls short of something (not quite sure what that is yet). I'm sure this would sound absolutely fantastic live - Jay can you clarify for us? I really love the video for this even if there's a serious lack of Zayn. Really fun, and Harry looks amazing at all points. Yes. Joseph agrees. This time it's the Comic Relief charity single 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)', a cover of one of Blondie's (it is Blondie, right? Just keep forgetting considering this shits all over the original x) songs. It's an amazing cover, but definitely not one of their best singles. The video however is amazing (if somewhat weaker because of David bloody Cameron's appearance - they should have edited his face and made it the devil's). Zayn is perfect in it, Harry is perfect in it. Liam is there, Niall is there. Louis is ew.
