There was a period when I wanted this to be a the 2nd single but now I think they should label this a promo single and release something else as much as I love the song. Even with Radio 1 A-list airplay and being Top 25 on the airplay chart it's still falling on Spotify; I really can't see how it will recover and make it back to the Top 10 at this rate.

I agree tbh. Hopefully we'll get a killer 2nd single in the next few weeks cos I can see this underperforming if this stays as second single and the press will have a field day with it and try and drag Taylor even more
 Also are there like any other songs that only spent 1 week on the A List? |

 I think it's a good move, release like the most commercial wide appealing song on the album to launch it off like Blank Space.

Out of the Spotify Top 50 after being removed from Hot Hits UK (only 500 plays behind 50th as well ffs!). Hopefully it doesn't plummet too much

I wonder why Taylor returned to early 10s style EDM influenced pop for Ready For It.... like her for doing so though, it is much better imo than her releasing a tropical pop song which we have too many of!

I feel like a killer video & one promo performance can push it back up into becoming a bigger hit! (As long as the UK radio mess sorts itself out, capital have now dropped this ofc and she gets back onto the big spotify playlists which I'm sure she will!)
