Things went okay for Think About Us in the end. But we know Little Mix can do better.
Where do you think the song would have peaked if these usual things lined up: - The promo wasn’t over a month before the single was annouced and released. - The video came out on a usual weekday morning instead of a Friday night. - It had been supported on New Music Friday and not taken over 2 weeks to get added to HHUK. - Had a discount And most importantly - Captial had supported it like all their other singles? |

I think it would have got top 15 at least if everything was done at the correct time.
It was a missed opportunity but then again they didn't seem that invested in it themselves. |

I would have imagined maybe a #14 peak.

Well it wouldn't have flopped for sure. Probably the same peak as NMSS I guess, both seemed like safe single choices but ended up being the lowest peaking of their respective eras

I feel like this would be right up Capital listeners street though. I feel like casual listeners of Capital woulda got this stuck in their heads etc..
I feel like it woulda gone top 15 and stuck around the 14/15/16 region for a few weeks back and forth. ACR hitting it and it falling to like 38 or something before stabilising and climbing back up to like 33 or something for a couple of weeks. It woulda kept their top 20 streak for sure though! Grr. And had they impacted radios when the performances were, I would say it might've have pushed for like a 10 or 11 peak! |

A flop is something like the my current username. But also, yeah I think a peak similar to No More Sad Songs. If ALL those things above had lined up I wouldn’t have ruled out top 10. |

I don't see much difference between #15 peak and #22. Depending on how busy the week is, those positions might even have pretty similar sales (last week 2.5k gap).
The single was handled badly though, but there's always the next one. This post has been edited by SKOB: Apr 1 2019, 08:22 PM |

I think if it had even a discount it would've easily went top 20/top 15, with a similar trajectory to NMSS. I don't think it was ever destined to be a huge hit, since it didn't respond that strongly to R1's A-list airplay and was heavily reliant on Hot Hits, but it certainly would've been a lot bigger had Capital not ignored it.

Probably between a #11-#20 peak I would think.
