Bedtime Story has always been my favourite single from this era... until recently Secret pips it to the post now!
Best video remains Bedtime Story though! |

Maybe a little controversial but this is my rank of both singles and videos:
Take a Bow Secret Human Nature Bedtime Story There's no denying that 'Bedtime Story' is an impressive visual and I love the surrealist concept but, ultimately, I just don't take anything personal away from the video. Perhaps if I read into the video and discovered what symbolism was shown, I might connect with it more. 'Take a Bow' tells a strong story, it's emotional and poignant, Madonna looks so gorgeous and elegant - it's one of my favourites to watch. The 'Secret' video is pretty overlooked; I really like how it finds beauty in the everyday, it's quite organic much like the song itself. 'Human Nature' is such great humour, I love moments like this where Madonna can laugh not only at the situation but herself too. Song-wise, it's a strong set of singles, each offering a different side to the album. It took me ages to get into 'Bedtime Story' but it's gradually grown through my affections and I can surely say I'm a fan now. Always appreciated how it set the blueprint for Ray of Light, though. |

Very tough to choose but went for Take a Bow for both. All ace songs with ace videos.
