I definitely think Britney's fans have taken this way past it's actual meaning and taking offence at what? No shade, just truth? A song DOES need promo to help it become a more sustained hit. There was NO SHADE towards Brit at ANY point. She was basically calling Billboard out for bullshitting and twisting her words completely. I'm sorry, but Brit's fans are definitely in the wrong in this "feud" I'm afraid. (Even if that was a clever dig by Brit ) Of course she's gonna defend herself when crazy stans are attacking her for "shading" their fave, when she didn't at all...
