Boris asked us to tell him what we wanted and what we thought of him. Here's his reply to me.
'I asked what your priorities are – and you told me. So here’s what I’m doing. Thank you for taking my survey. I received thousands of responses from people like you – and I want to get to work on the priorities we all share. You said that one of your priorities is Brexit. It’s mine too. That’s why I’ll deliver Brexit by the 31st of October – deal or no deal. Because politicians don’t get to decide which votes they respect. Here is my full six-point plan. By delivering Brexit, we can start making it work for us. And we’re not waiting around to take action on the priorities we all share. Like investing in local NHS services. Hiring 20,000 new police officers. Improving our schools. And growing our economy. And don’t worry. My Conservative team and I will keep you updated on the action we’re taking. So you always know what’s going on. But there’s more to do. So why not ask a friend to tell me their priorities? Together, we’ll put Britain back on the road to a brighter future. Forward this email to a friend, and tell them to let me know what they think. Yours sincerely, Boris Johnson, Prime Minister This post has been edited by Trump2020: Aug 30 2019, 03:55 PM |

Well, I suppose some people will be naïve enough to believe him.

How heartfelt. You can really tell he meant every single word there, not one of it a cliche and not one of it written by his PR, bravo

So he’s just telling you what you want to hear then. My contact was right about him.

Nothing but hot air.
None of the bit that follows “deal or no deal” is possible with a no deal exit. |

Give all your money away Boris, that's what I want you to do. And maybe stop shagging a woman your daughter's age while you're still married while you're at it.

I actually meant "neither", that was a typo. Anyway, bottom line is it was aimed squarely at Chris so stop making it about you!

IMO That's a bit strong (iro me). That's partly why I don't post that often here any more - few people here are capable of accepting/understanding my political stance. That’s because you never back up your arguments with facts. It’s all about gut feeling and any inconvenient facts just get ignored. We are still waiting for a single example of a law imposed on us by the EU against the will of the government of the day |

You say as if that's bc its profound, rather than seeming to not be based in anything but what you want to believe anyway rather than any facts. For what its worth I didn't always agree with the conservatives of the past but sometimes I could see where they were coming from. But today I see many, many people going along with a fantasy that's being sold to them by people looking to exploit. Boris, Farage, Mogg etc. are happily taking folk for a ride just by playing characters & paying people to sell a certain image of them. No better than when a rich popstar pretends to come from an ordinary background for the story. All they want is taxpayers money for themselves & supreme power, nothing good for the citizens of the country. |

Being pedantic changes precisely nothing about Suedehead’s statement.
Do some research, back up your beliefs. |

Being pedantic changes precisely nothing about Suedehead’s statement. Do some research, back up your beliefs. Beliefs don't need backing up, as long as you are not trying to convince anyone else. For example : I seek to change the status quo when I perceive it is failing to do what it is supposed to. e.g. how we deal with crime. |

Pray tell, how is leaving the EU going to change how we deal with crime? What EU directive or EU law is making it impossible to remain a member and deal with crime?
