It sounds like a soundtrack song to some sort of cheap 'spring break' film set on a beach from a late 90s US one-hit wonder
Essentially not at all what I was expecting George to come back with! A brave move but I can't see his fanbase lapping it up at all, doesn't sound like an album shifting lead single really! |

It's not his best song or anything for me but it's managed to grow on me a lot after not being fussed at first. The chorus is playing in my head still so that's a good sign I guess.

I only just heard this on Radio 2 the other day - wasn't even aware he returned, which is odd as I loved his first album. But this is an equally good record! Nice uplifting and sunny but with that voice behind it just gives it a bit more depth.
