Welcome to round 3 of the 'Immaculate Collection - Survivor' polls and the 2nd song to lose its place is one of Madonna's early efforts 'Lucky Star', which was written by Madonna herself and released in September 1983 as the 4th single from her debut self-titled album. At first the song was produced by Reggie Lucas, but she wasn't happy with the final product and called her then boyfriend John "Jellybean" Benitez to remix the track according to her ideas. Even at this early stage in her career you could tell that Madonna had a knack for writing catchy hooks, while you wouldn't call it lyrically deep or exciting, its the killer bassy beat that's perfect for 80's or hell any dancefloor, and coming after 'Holiday', it builds and offers a more complex and interesting sound.

6 tracks in total received votes in the last round, with of course 'Lucky Star' receiving the most. 'Justify My Love' gained the 2nd highest with 4 votes and could may well be in trouble for this next round. 'Live To Tell' starts to pick up votes this time with 2 and 'Material Girl' again receives 1 vote as do 'Like A Virgin' & 'Express Yourself' for the first time.

So remember guys same rules apply just vote for your least favourite out of the 15 tracks remaining and the 1 with the most votes will leave us by the next round which will be next Thursday.
