QUOTE Neil Claxton @MintRoyale 1h1 hour ago The entire album top 10 next week might be new entries. Q4 in full effect. But who still buys Green Day? Lots of people it seems. QUOTE Neil Claxton @MintRoyale 1h1 hour ago James Arthur is settling in for the long haul at number 1, selling loads. #BrexitBritain QUOTE Neil Claxton @MintRoyale 1h1 hour ago
The entire album top 10 is comprised of acts many albums into their careers. No new talent at all. Come on A&Rs, pull your fingers out. |

6 new enteries plus one re-entry in the album top 10 yesterday, I'm expecting something similar next Friday. Barry Gibb, Norah Jones, Green Day, OneRepublic, Kaiser Chiefs, White Lies, Sum 41, Seasick Steve, Feeder and Placebo all contenders for top 10

These are the best selling new releases according to the Amazon Top 100 (not including second versions that appear):
01. Green Day 02. Barry Gibb 03. Alter Bridge 04. Norah Jones 05. Seasick Steve 06. Kaiser Chiefs 07. OneRepublic 08. Meshuggah 09. White Lies 10. Kate Tempest 11. Kate Rusby 12. Placebo 13. Feeder 14. Sum 41 Just gives an idea as to what the update Top 10 may look like atm. I imagine it's pretty much guaranteed that the Top 5 will be new releases, possibly the Top 7, by the end of the week. |

I totally missed Placebo... oops. I think from what I can gather it's essentially a GH collection?

I forgot about Alter Bridge, they will deft make the top ten, there is also The Priests, they usually do well. Kate Tempest should chart as well and I have my fingers crossed for Phantogram. Over on the singles Bruno Mars should do very well, he's already 22 on spotify charts

Feeder's last couple of albums missed the Top 10, I'm hopeful this one will see them return, the sheer number of new releases this week means it'll be tough for them though!

Would love to see Placebo and Feeder get top 10 entries, big shake up in the album chart this week. I would love to see the same shake up in the singles as well.

James Arthur to cross 100,000 combined sales this week? His X Factor looks to have given him a bit of a boost.

James Arthur has probably got another week or two at #1 Unless Fifth Harmony picks up a bit, I can't see any other contenders for the #1 apart from them. I don't think the CIN single will do anything this year when the track drops or for the see-able future with the CIN tracks. Bruno Mars will be lucky just scraping Top 5, more likely between 6-10, by the end of the week. Another thing, I think we have seen the end of 1 weekers at #1, tracks will just hold on for at least 3 to 4 weeks, with the occasional tracks sticking around longer. |

Fifth Harmony are not even close to a contender (as much as I'd love them to be). The only contender would be Bruno Mars if he did an X Factor performance and Little Mix if they weren't releasing on a Sunday. |
