Inner Massivia can confirm that despite our non-qualification, all terrestrial and satellite channels will be taking live coverage of the Final.
The BJSC Appreciation Society has gathered in the Chart Club in the Alt Markt, Attacktonia to watch the results come in. Two special guests are in attendance - Sir Tom Jones who acted as a guest juror for BJSC XII and Melanie Fiona, the amazing young singer-songwriter who will represent Inner Massivia in BJSC XIII.
An interesting rumour to emerge in the club is that all ten acts to receive points from the Inner Massivia jury coincidentally have the letter "L" in their name.

But then again I honestly think the song that is running away with this competition is absolutely awful; because Howard Jones did this music far better in the 1980s than 2009's answer to Calvin Harris. Whilst the video rip off of the children's movie "Big" that made a star out of Tom Hanks is lame IMHO.

I wasn't in your semi but might have given it points, I probably rate the song 9/10 so unless there were 10 or more other 9/10 songs I'm sure it would have gotten some points...
I used to deduct points for cheapness but I saw the error of my ways and now give points based on how much I rate the song out of ten, with unknown songs having a slight advantage if marks are tied

Again, I thought the host nation's song is was pretty good. It had a really strong chorus only let down slightly by a verse that had too many lyrics in it to fit the melody (otherwise known as the Alanis Morissette syndrome).
Maybe the answer is for all countries to go into Semi's because the trend has been going on too long and there is no doubt that like the Eurovision Song Contest songs that automatically qualify for the Final are at a distinct disadvantage to Semi Final qualifiers.

what you consider to be great is not always a shared opinion...I thought that Mira and Vincent were certain qualifiers and they crashed whilst I honestly thought that Sanna Nielsen would struggle and she came top 5...
this contest is so unbelievably unpredictable at times but I'm very happy that Frankmusik and Darin are in the lead because it proves that male artists can do well with the right songs, and I won't be afraid to send any more males in the future
I was getting a bit sick of sending females all the time actually

quite, it is I would assume quite hard to host a final you have no immediate interest in...
and I gave loads of my points to songs in semi-1, which had just as much chance of getting points as the two auto-qualifiers, because I hadn't heard any of these songs before the final
I would never discriminate against auto qualifiers, every song is listened to 4 times and then ranked out of ten
